About the role:
This is a fabulous opportunity to join a global organisation with over 500,000 colleagues worldwide as a Marquee and Porterage Operative and provide support to Armed Forces personnel at HM Naval Base Portsmouth, PO1 4QT. Play your part in making rewarding occasions special for our Armed Forces Personnel. There will be occasional travel to other locations to provide event support.
After training including PASMA, MUTA, and Cat Scanning the rate will rise to £14.21 Per Hour
What you’ll do:
Erecting and dismantling marquess for up to 500 peopleErect and dismantle tower platforms. Porterage duties including assisting with office moves, moving filing cabinets, lockers etc Occasionally working in the waste area moving pallets using a Forklift TruckScan Ground areas for Hazards which could be caused by during the Marquee and seating area sitingWhat we’re looking for:
Full UK Driving LicenseForklift experience is preferred, but training will be given if you do not hold certifications. However, please be aware that you will be required to undergo training if you do not have a relevant forklift qualification. Effective verbal and written communicationBe willing to start early/finish late and work off siteWilling to under go relevant trainingWilling to use toolsDue to security requirements you must have been continuously resident in UK for last 3 years to apply for this positionWhat we offer:
