THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:
The Seller Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for expanding UB Marketplace’s seller ecosystem by identifying, recruiting, and onboarding high-potential brands across strategic categories. This role is critical to driving growth, closing assortment gaps, and positioning UB Marketplace as a differentiated destination for beauty, wellness, and lifestyle innovation.
YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:
Identify and recruit new sellers across priority categories, aligned with UB Marketplace’s strategic assortment architecture. Develop and deliver compelling pitches that articulate the value of joining UB Marketplace, leveraging Ulta Beauty’s brand equity, loyalty ecosystem, and guest reach.Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospective sellers, tracking outreach, engagement, and conversion metrics. Partner with Seller Support to ensure seamless onboarding, including product listings, offer optimization, and logistics setup. Collaborate with the Seller Account Manager to identify whitespace opportunities and category-level seller needs. Share seller feedback and onboarding insights with cross-functional teams to inform product, operations, and marketing strategies.
ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience2–4 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketplace acquisition, ideally within eCommerce, retail, or consumer brands. Proven track record of driving growth through seller or client acquisition.Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging across seller types and categories.Familiarity with marketplace ecosystems and seller onboarding processes.Highly organized, with experience managing pipelines and CRM tools. Passion for beauty, wellness, and digital innovation is a plus.
The pay range for this position is $66,200.00 - $85,000.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
