**What You Can Expect**
The Marketing Communications Specialist will support the Global Marketing Communication and Product Management teams in establishing and implementing marketing campaigns for specified product brand(s).
**How You'll Create Impact**
+ · Develops messaging and content while actively participating in the generation of marketing collateral to support all phases of the product and/or product segment life cycle. May lead cross-functional teams and/or allocate necessary work to complete projects on time and in budget.
+ · Independently responsible for executing all marketing communication activities for assigned products in a way that supports the overriding business unit strategy. This includes collaboration with internal production team and external vendors, where appropriate.
+ · Manages on-time delivery of assigned projects from approved concept through delivery of final materials. This includes schedule management, vendor coordination, review/approval workflow and budget management.
+ · Assists with communication strategy development and executes marketing projects once strategy is defined.
+ · Is ultimately responsible for the execution of strategic global marketing message in collaboration with Product Marketing and Marketing Communications team members.
+ · Actively participates in creative briefing sessions with Product Managers, Marketing staff and external agencies.
+ · Ensures all projects completed for assigned product brand(s) stay on time and within budget.
+ · Participates in key stage-gate meetings during the product development cycle for assigned products.
+ · Works with Marcom & cross-functional team members to maintain final marketing materials, online literature catalogs, provide meeting planning and support and assist with various projects as needed.
+ · Develops and maintains a moderate level of product knowledge for assigned product brands in order to communicate product details effectively for external audiences.

+ Ability to work effectively with cross-functional/multi-disciplined teams including but not limited to: Product Management, Commercialization, Sales Administration, Market Communications, and Sales force representatives.
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite & other PC based systems, as well as Internet Explorer
+ Understanding of Marketing Communications concepts
+ General knowledge of medical device industry
**Your Background**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or other related field.
+ Minimum one 3-5 years of experience in marketing, corporate communications, or medical device product management.
