Position Summary

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for modeling the Compassus values of Compassion, Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork, and Innovation and for promoting the Compassus philosophy, using the 6 Pillars of Success as the foundation. S/he is responsible for upholding the Code of Ethical Conduct and for promoting positive working relationships within the company, among all departments, and all external stakeholders. The Marketing Specialist operates as an internal support agent for Compassus Executive Directors, Regional Vice Presidents, and growth management; in addition to, corporate support functions and departments for endeavors related to internal and external marketing, marketing, growth, and advocacy. The Marketing Specialist works closely with members of the marketing team to oversee and execute a variety of project management and event management tasks to help in planning, organizing, and accomplishing marketing objectives. The Marketing Specialist maintains a high level of tactical coordination and strategic alignment across the company to help fulfill specific objectives.


Position Specific Responsibilities

Collaborates closely with the Director of Marketing to effectively execute monthly marketing resource communications and tools.Takes an active role in organizing, coordinating, and tactically executing the development of marketing materials, including but not limited to clinical, operational and growth materials.Manages the entire lifecycle of marketing tools and branded materials, ensuring production, regulatory compliance, maintenance, inventorying, and timely delivery. Places a strong emphasis on cultivating and maintaining relationships with primary vendors.Travels to and provides on-site support for national meetings as needed.Keeps the team on track during national meeting planning, establishing and monitoring deadlines and checkpoints.Manages vendor invoices to ensure timely payments.Monitors spending throughout event planning and handles post-event invoices.Conducts a monthly review of spending within budget lines to identify and address any issues or discrepancies.Serves as the primary contact for vendors involved in events.Performs other duties as assigned.


Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related degree required.At least three (3) years of experience in marketing required.


Skills

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leaders, team members, investors, and external parties. Strong written and verbal communications.Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English. Articulates and embraces integrated healthcare at home philosophy.


Physical Demands and Work Environment: The demands of this role necessitate a team member to effectively perform essential functions. Adaptations can be made to accommodate team members with disabilities. Regular standing, walking, and manual dexterity are fundamental, along with the ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds. Visual acuity requirements include close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
