Job Summary

We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to lead the development and execution of marketing strategies and programs for our Bioproduction portfolio and offerings. The ideal candidate will collaborate within a complex, matrixed organization to develop marketing strategies for biological and chemical products, design multi-channel marketing campaigns, and drive tactical execution to achieve both marketing and revenue goals. The candidate should have a business marketing background, with a consistent track record of optimizing marketing efforts across various channels and funnel stages, while fostering alignment with commercial sales teams

Marketing Specialist, BioProduction Group

Based in Seoul, Korea

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic annual marketing plans, including customer segment analysis, competitor research, business trends, and market opportunities

Develop sales enablement material and training, and return voice-of-sales / voice-of-customer to the business

Craft and manage lead generation and sales opportunity funnels through promotional initiatives and marketing-led events such as customer events and trade shows

Regularly review marketing objectives against the plan, track critical metrics, and optimize programs to exceed targets while addressing underperformance

Stay informed about bioprocessing industry trends, technologies, and the competitive landscape

Coordinate with global functions to ensure consistency with brand profiles and company standards

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Life Sciences, Marketing, or related field

A degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, or Business, with previous work experience in biotechnology, medical devices, or the pharmaceutical industry is also acceptable

Experience

5+ years of marketing experience (biopharma/ biotech segment is a plus)

Experience with product area marketing plans, general knowledge of operating plans, or industry practices for promoting and selling similar products

Critical Thinking, Problem-solving abilities

Outstanding skill in planning and implementing marketing campaigns

Market Analysis skill; Ability to analyze competitor and market data

Build and implement marketing campaigns for our bioproduction portfolio, with a focus on the biological and chemical products, such as cell culture media and supplements

Develop messaging for sales and customer-facing materials, with strong creative intuition on design and messaging that resonates with customers

Ability to lead project scope, budget, and schedule to achieve timely completion of project results

Digital Marketing: Experience with social media campaigns and data-driven strategies
