Boeing Korea LLCBoeing Defense, Space and Security is looking for an International Business Development Senior Manager. The role reports directly to the Country Director of International Business Development for the Korea office and will be located in Seoul, South Korea.
In this role, you will be responsible for business development efforts in Korea across all business portfolios and programs. This individual will be required to lead the country efforts and assist the business development team through identification of opportunities, market analysis, product definition, price to win analysis and the development of campaign capture strategies, goals, and objectives required to meet and exceed business growth objectives and long-range business plan targets. As Senior Manager, you must be able to lead, develop and motivate employees and supporting teammates.
This position will be hired initially on a 2-years fixed term contract with the opportunity to convert to an open-ended contract, subject to individual performance or business's needs
The Senior Manager – Korea International Business Development will leverage a deep understanding of Korea’s defense customers and industry. Their primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintain and advance a broad network of customer relationships that proactively identify business opportunities and promote the value of Boeing portfolio and partnership.Balance the enterprise, business and customer goals to drive successful business strategies.Take a consultative approach to help customers and Boeing achieve objectives.Provide appropriate recommendations to Boeing management to facilitate BDS opportunity growth in KoreaSupport campaign activities to completion by integrating customer needs with Boeing solutions.Advocate for Boeing by interfacing directly with customer decision-makers and influencers.Provide guidance to teammates regarding the customer and business environment in KoreaBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
More than 10 years working within the Korean defense communityMore than 10 years’ experience building, developing and maintaining customer relationships.More than 5 years’ experience with business development within the aerospace and/or defense industriesIn-depth understanding of Korea Ministry of Defense operational, sustainment and contracting processesIn-depth knowledge of Korea’s defense industry roles and responsibilitiesEnglish language conversation-level proficiencyCandidate must be a citizen or legal permanent resident of KoreaPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
Master’s degree in Engineering or Program Management is desiredWorking knowledge of Defense Acquisition ProcessesPrevious Capture/Campaign team leadership experienceExtensive demonstrable experience fostering relationships and influencing senior level executivesKnowledge of established policies and procedures associated with program captureLocation
