Marketing Project Coordinator

D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Marketing Project Coordinator for their Corporate Marketing Department. The right candidate will combine creative thinking with performance analysis and project management to drive growth across a suite of online products that will support the marketing activities of the various home builder divisions of D.R. Horton, Inc.

Their role is to plan and execute projects according to strict deadlines and within budget set by management. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. They will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

They will work with a variety of vendors on multiple projects and campaigns at a time.

Must work within tight deadlines and budget(s) and have excellent communication and time management skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Work with third-party vendors to define content strategy, tactics, roadmap and milestonesDefine project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management and stakeholdersDevelop full-scale project plans and associated communications documentsEffectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashionIdentify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project teamPlan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate toolsTrack project milestones and deliverablesDevelop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentationsDetermine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results and troubleshoot problem areasAbility to translate business and technical concepts into functional specification documentsExceptional attention to detail and ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphereAssist in other Corporate marketing initiatives on an as needed basis

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or two to four years in Communication, Marketing or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3 years of experience creating, managing and analyzing a suite of online products in a marketing environment.Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast paced environmentShould exhibit creativity and resourcefulness. Able to take calculated and bold initiatives to meet the expectations of clients effectivelyShould have excellent effectual communication skillsShould be able to communicate insight and ideas effectivelyShould have effective people skills to deal with clients (internal external)Self-confident and outgoing personalityShould be an expert in forwarding thinking, market research, and should possess problem-solving skillsAbility to listen to intended details attentively2 years of interactive experience either in an agency or corporate environment3 years of experience managing production of online content.Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment
