The IAE Marketing team designs and leads programs to support in-field teams in promoting the adoption of Immunology brands among large organized customers. The team implements initiatives that integrate disease awareness, cost data, and brand messaging with the goal of advancing patient-centered care and improving patient outcomes.
Role Overview
Working in a team-based environment, the Marketing Manager role reports to the Associate Director of Marketing, Dermatology and is responsible for supporting the development and execution of marketing plans and programs needed to support the IAE in-field teams to maximize brand sales, market share and profitability.
Key Responsibilities May Include:
Dermatology Therapeutic Area Experience: Demonstrate a strong understanding of the patient and customer journey in Dermatology to implement marketing initiatives in line with IAE goals. Process Standardization: Equip in-field teams to empower customers to standardize processes that achieve organizational goals, implementing changes that elevate care standards, create institutional impact, and improve patient outcomes. Tactical Execution: Design, deliver and execute high-impact marketing tactics in line with IAE Marketing strategic imperatives, ensuring tactics are executed on time and budget. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Immunology Marketing Teams, Immunology Account Executive Sales Force, Market Access, Market Research, Sales Training, Medical, Regulatory, Legal, HEOR and other internal partners to ensure effective execution of marketing initiatives. Internal Communication: Manage weekly internal communication developing content and coordinating across the marketing team to ensure effective delivery. Support with the development of quarterly business update presentations to update marketing and sales leadership on key initiatives. External Communication: Support marketing team communication and logistics with consultants, as well as key health system influencers, to successfully drive the business. Lead relationships with strategic and creative marketing agencies.Project Management: Deliver detailed marketing briefs, develop timelines, and manage potential barriers, escalating to Associate Director and/or Director as necessary. Budget Management: Track and manage assigned marketing budgets effectively while overseeing multiple projects to deliver high-quality work on time. Ongoing evaluation of marketing program effectiveness and recommend tactical adjustments as needed.Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to utilize approved platforms to optimize workload, with a curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging trends and technologies, and openness to workflow optimization. Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field. 3+ years experience in specialty sales Excellent communication (oral, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills. Strong planning and organization skills, attention to detail, execution urgency, and follow-through. This is a position requiring the ability to be onsite at our Mettawa, IL office location at least 3 days per week.
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years Dermatology brand marketing/consumer promotion/patient services experience Advanced degree/MBA or previous sales/marketing experience Launch experience, market access experience, and/or account executive experienceKey AbbVie Competencies:

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
