As Manager, you will be at the forefront of innovation, shaping impactful programs that elevate clinical expertise and drive best-in-class patient outcomes.

The Manager of AbbVie Medical Institute is responsible for executing and delivering world-class innovative training as a part of AbbVie Medical Institute. This individual will be leading multiple training brands across several indications.


The manager will engage and collaborate with cross functional teams including field marketing, peer to peer marketing, medical, regulatory, legal, and compliance. Collaborations with external partners include expert physicians, creative agencies, logistics agencies.


The manager will need to interface with top thought leaders in several therapeutic areas in order to gather insights and deliver on training goals for the U.S. The manager must demonstrate the ability to build a brand and sell a vision. Critical to the role will be leadership abilities, strong communication skills, and ability to build relationships. The candidate must demonstrate effective skills in leading multiple projects and delivering quality performance in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.


Specific Responsibilities:

Lead execution of our innovative training brands across multiple indications and align them to brand objectivesSupport launch of unique training programs and lead development of program resourcesCoordinate reviews through the materials review process by working with legal, compliance, regulatory, and medical teamsAssist with management of marketing budget and maximizing resource impactMaintain and build working relationships with key physiciansAttends key congresses and regional events to ensure successful execution of programsCollaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver on premier and compliant training experienceGather insights through strategic ad boards to enhance plans and pull through to executionGenerate monthly and quarterly reporting across indications to inform leadership of program performanceManage speaker logistics, contracting, and content updates to ensure seamless execution and compliance.

Skills and Competencies:

Marketing/brand management experience in pharma or healthcare-related industriesProactive and solutions orientedAdaptable and able to navigate fast-changing environmentsProfessional communication skills; ability to present ideas clearlyStrong emotional intelligenceAgency Management experience preferredPreferred business acumen and analytical skillsAbility to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree5-7 years of biopharmaceutical or other equivalent (relevant) experience2-3 years of marketing (brand or product management) experienceStrong analytics with excellent overall business acumenExcellent leadership and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications: 

MBA, PharmD, or related Master’s Degree preferred2–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare-related marketing, training, or field execution roles.
