The opportunity
Sitting within the Marketing and Activation team, which is part of the wider Brand, Marketing & Communications (BMC) function, you will be at the epicentre of where plans turn into action and the rubber hits the road. Reporting into EOY Senior Marketing manager, this role will responsible for the project management and delivery of the renowned world class EOY awards programme in the UK. EY is the market leader in advising, guiding and recognising entrepreneurs and high-growth companies. The EOY programme, supports and celebrates entrepreneurs – recognising that entrepreneurship and innovation drives the growth of the economy and plays a major role in job and wealth creation.
The role requires a creative and highly motivated individual with the ability to work within a team as well as on their own initiative.
Your key responsibilities
You will be responsible for the project management and delivery of the EOY Programme.
Manage the production and execution of agreed deliverables within timelines and budget; measuring the activities and using insights to enhance and refine activity. This will include content creation, managing platforms, communications, and business engagement activities. Manage project meetings, including task trackers and actions/minutes Facilitate programme communication throughout program life cycle with broad network of internal stakeholders and teams and C-Suite external clients Build a strong internal and external network; working closely with the business, BD, global BMC colleagues, external agencies, and in house studios to develop and deliver differentiated, brand focused and customer centric solutions. Project-manage a team of onshore and offshore BMC team members, creating and fostering a positive team environment where everyone is supported to develop and learn. Facilitate the identification of all prospective nominees for the EOY program and guides targeting activities to ensure timely submission of applications Responsible for tracking the opportunity pipeline for our finalists, judges, and alumni to support conversion reporting for the business Be able to analyse large amounts of data and interpret and present in a clear and concise manner - very familiar and comfortable with Xcel and capable of using all functionalities Work with the digital and content team to ensure content for your respective portfolio is relevant and compelling with a clear buyer journey Co-ordinate overall World EOY activity (excluding World EOY UK winner materials) Responsible for maintenance of relevant EY.COM pages including informing the business of expiring pages and building business cases for extensions Crafting UK specific messaging for globally produced reports/pages (where agreed as part of the strategy that these reports/pages will activated) Responsible for maintenance of relevant EY.COM People profiles, including removing those no longer required, updates to existing profiles and development of new profiles
Skills and attributes for success
Extensive business experience; a degree or other relevant experience is welcome Experience of working in large/matrix organisations, balancing multiple stakeholder requirements Time and project management skills – highly organised with a sound attention to detail and an ability to deliver to deadlines A strong track record of strategic campaign management, producing quality, consistent messages, through all channels A solid understanding of campaign principles, coupled with a strong commercial drive and the ability to deliver high-value activities that deliver return on investment, ensuring alignment with brand and risk management An enthusiastic, can do approach and be a strong team player The ability to juggle conflicting demands on time and prioritise effectively A desire to embrace and drive change whilst identifying and supporting process improvements and demonstrating best practice
To qualify for the role, you must have
5 years’ experience in marketing programme management in a corporate environment
Ideally, you will also have
Line management experience Managing complex budgets
