Purpose:

 

Activate & Design the GTM Strategy in collaboration with the Crop Solution & Strategy to enable Customer Facing Squads to deliver tailored offerings to farmers in North AfricaEnsure availability and implementation of digital marketing strategy that supports North Africa Go-to-Market strategyEnsure interface with local / regional / global internal team / digital team, IT team, external agency regarding digital farmingComply with laws, regulations, and good business practicesSupport a Crop science approach on all communication, media and contentDetermine the value Proposition for the final customer: work with facing Squads Team to categorize and validate key product features and benefits for support material (USP)Responsible for analyzing macro-trends, customer needs and competitor environment to identify and support roll out of alternative route to market and new business opportunitiesLead the development and implementation of digital farming strategies that optimize agricultural productivity and resource management and translate technological advancements into actionable solutions that align with the organization’s global sustainability goalsDevelop and execute digital farming strategies tailored to the unique agricultural landscape of North AfricaEnable delivery of content and services to customers using digital toolsAnalyse data and trends to provide actionable insights for farmers and stakeholders in the regionEstablish partnerships with local agricultural organizations, technology providers, and research institutions to promote digital farming initiatives
Build a crop/product/country calendar to anticipate digital actions and content aligned with business need at MD and commercial level

Key Responsabilities and Tasks: 

 

Identify the new BCS products to launch according to customer needs and global BCS marketing strategies.Establish and manage annual budgets for marketing (publicity & information) in agreement with Facing and Support Squads.Prepare all details of the product launch process (packaging, price positioning, promotion & communication, launch events…)Develop value propositions and tailored solutions based on input from Agronomy Excellence and other USS teams at country levelEnsure that there are clear bridges to the Field Marketing and CFSs for field ActivationDevelop and execute digital farming strategies tailored to the unique agricultural landscape of North AfricaCoordinate the portfolio review conjointly with relevant CP portfolio teamsEnsure clear local portfolio analysis and management to support business growth in North AfricaDesign and follow-up with the various CFSs on actionable territory plans to enable consistent and effective execution across countriesAnalyze the sub-regional crop market, macro-trends and competitor strategies to identify new business opportunities based upon unmet needs of current and new customers, including partners within the crop systemsCoordinate and manage the strategy integration and tactical activation in North Africa in close collaboration with relevant Customer Facing Squads and Unit Support Squads
Steward and implement the GTM planning calendar for North Africa

Background, Skills & Qualifications:

 

Degree in Agronomy, Agriculture or Business AdministrationMinimum 3 to 5 year’ experience in marketing and/ or salesSolid knowledge of agricultural systems and farm agronomy with relevance for the regionAbility to develop and apply meaningful customer segments based on deep understanding of customers insightsStrong digital acumenAbility to utilize complex data points in order o understand market trends and anticipate future requirementsAbility to develop, differentiating strategies based on compelling and novel solutions for customer needsAbility to develop, foster and utilize a broad base of networks at all evels of the organization and across geographiesAbility to drive change in complex organizationAbility to develop and integrate grower segment insights/ needs into innovative GtM strategies to expand customer base and grow the businessAbility to collaborate/communicate with and develop internal and external partnershipsStrong command of English and French
