Marketing Manager
**Position Overview** We are seeking a commercially driven and execution-focused Marketing Manager to accelerate business growth in the China market. This role requires a strong sales mindset, hands-on field engagement, and proven team leadership capability. The ideal candidate has solid experience in cardiovascular and/or neurovascular high-value medical device industry and understands how to translate marketing strategy into measurable commercial outcomes. The position plays a critical role in driving revenue growth, leading cross-functional collaboration, executing high-impact academic initiatives, and ensuring stable product supply to support sustainable business expansion. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Revenue-Driven Marketing Strategy & Business Ownership • Develop and execute annual marketing plans aligned with China commercial objectives and global strategy • Translate business goals into actionable marketing initiatives with clear revenue and market share targets • Monitor key KPIs including sales growth, tender win rate, product penetration, and marketing ROI • Identify growth acceleration opportunities and proactively address business gaps • Take ownership of assigned product portfolio performance 2. Cross-Functional Leadership & Business Alignment • Drive strong collaboration with Sales, Regulatory, Clinical Affairs, Supply Chain, Finance, and Global Marketing • Act as a strategic bridge between China commercial team and global headquarters • Ensure marketing initiatives comply with regulatory and compliance requirements • Partner closely with Supply Chain to secure stable product availability and optimize inventory planning • Support demand forecasting accuracy to minimize supply disruption risks 3. Field-Focused Product Management & Launch Excellence • Lead product lifecycle management, including launch planning and commercialization strategy • Conduct regular field visits to understand customer needs and competitive landscape • Develop competitive response strategies and pricing recommendations • Design and deliver structured product training and sales enablement programs • Ensure effective execution of go-to-market initiatives in collaboration with Sales 4. Academic Leadership & Key Project Execution • Lead and execute strategic academic projects with clear commercial objectives • Build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs in cardiovascular and neurovascular fields • Drive high-impact congress activities and hospital-level academic programs • Track and evaluate ROI of key academic initiatives • Support major tenders, listing processes, and strategic account development 5. Team Leadership & Capability Development • Lead, coach, and develop marketing team members • Set clear performance objectives and ensure accountability • Build a high-performance, commercially oriented marketing team • Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and execution excellence **Qualifications** Education • Bachelor’s degree or above in Medical, Biomedical Engineering, Marketing, or related field • MBA preferred Experience • Minimum 8 years of experience in the medical device industry • Solid experience in cardiovascular and/or neurovascular high-value consumables • Proven marketing team management experience with direct reports • Sales experience in medical devices is highly preferred • Experience in multinational medical device companies is a plus **Core Competencies** • Strong commercial acumen and sales-oriented mindset • Strategic thinking with strong execution capability • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capability • Influencing and leadership skills • Fluent English communication (written and spoken) • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, matrix organization An Equal Opportunity Employer Abbot welcomes and encourages diversity in our workforce.
