About the position:

We are currently seeking a Marketing Manager for our growing Birmingham/Tuscaloosa division Under the direction of our VP of Sales Marketing, in collaboration with our Division President, the Marketing Manager will develop and lead a comprehensive and strategic marketing plan; as well as ensure brand consistency that is in line with corporate expectations. Additionally, this position supports area sales managers, the marketing team, and relevant division colleagues to ensure the plan aligns with overall division goals.

Our ideal candidate is well-versed in social media campaigns, comfortable teaching and coaching, understands the real estate industry, and is comfortable both developing as well as implementing processes.

Essential Functions:

Lead advertising and public relations with the ad agency for current division communities; identify and prioritize marketing objectives

Lead digital and traditional marketing needs for the division

Oversee marketing for active and upcoming communities; approve marketing materials such as ad campaigns, website designs, e-blast campaigns, logos, etc. in conjunction with region legal and corporate compliance

Review website performance and track campaign reporting to manage revenue, costs, and ROI; analyze and interpret user journey data to improve customer experience

Manage online branding and communication through website, social media, mobile, and email marketing campaigns

Manage reports and dashboard to provide detailed tracking of programs; and measure, monitor, and optimize the inquiry to closed opportunity funnel

Manage the design process for flyers, direct mail pieces, and other marketing collateral

Direct brand and compliance maintenance for model homes, advertising, signage, brochures, and invoices, including the compilation and completion of brochures and signage

Coordinate the selection of model options; maintain model homes after model openings, including coordinating cleaning and plant / landscape maintenance schedules by collaborating with model home merchandisers, landscape architects, and on-site builders

Hire and oversee all vendors for model home openings, following both division and corporate requirements

Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Communication is highly desired

6 years of digital marketing experience

Advanced knowledge of MLS and realtor sites such as Zillow and Realtor.com

Demonstrated experience in new home sales marketing is highly desired

Previous leadership or management experience

Ability to travel overnight as needed

Working environment:

Marketing Managers work in a normal office setting and sometimes from model homes when conducting field visits. Regular, moderate noise levels are to be expected. Candidates should be comfortable frequently communicating with customers and possess the ability to stand or walk for 4 hours, up to 8 hours as well as sit for extended periods; kneel and bend at the waist; traverse up or down stairs; move across unlevel terrains; use hands to handle or feel objects and reach; possess close, distance, color, and peripheral vision; as well as ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly.
