About This Opportunity
Join JLL as Marketing Manager for Mapleview Shopping Centre, where you'll lead comprehensive marketing initiatives for one of Canada's premier outlet destinations. This position offers the unique opportunity to make an immediate impact while driving strategic marketing efforts that directly influence property performance and tenant success. This is a full-time on-site position requiring standard business hours Monday through Friday, with flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends for events and campaign launches
What You'll Do
Strategic Marketing Leadership
Develop and execute an annual marketing plan that is aligned with the property’s strategic goalsCreate, monitor, and optimize marketing budget with monthly monitoring and reforecasting to ensure year-end projections are metAnalyze sales data, market trends, and consumer insights to inform strategic decision-making and leasing effortsPublic Relations & Media Management
Build and maintain strategic relationships with local media contacts and community partnersExecute media buying strategies and manage vendor relationships for consistent brand messagingDevelop press releases and coordinate media events to support property initiatives and special campaignsCampaign Development & Execution
Manage comprehensive digital marketing programs including social media, mobile marketing, and web presenceDesign and execute comprehensive seasonal campaigns, holiday promotions, and signature shopping events from conception through completion, including timeline development, resource allocation, and cross-channel coordination to drive targeted foot traffic and measurable sales increasesDevelop integrated marketing strategies that leverage multiple touchpoints including email marketing, social media, digital advertising, outdoor signage, radio partnerships, and in-center activations while ensuring brand consistency across all customer communicationsCreate and implement data-driven campaign optimization processes, including audience segmentation, performance benchmarking, and real-time adjustments to maximize ROI and campaign effectiveness + track and analyze campaign performance metrics including foot traffic patterns, conversion rates, social engagement, digital analytics, and sales attribution to inform strategic decision-making and optimize future initiativesAssist with creation of professional sales materials and marketing collateral to support leasing initiativesTenant Relations & Community Partnerships
Build strategic relationships with key retail partners to develop co-marketing opportunities and drive individual store performanceEstablish an ongoing partnership with tenants to maximize individual store sales through retailer communications, sales promotions and visual merchandising.Facilitate new tenant onboarding processes including marketing integration and partnership opportunity identificationMonitor tenant sales performance through monthly reporting analysis and provide strategic recommendations to enhance individual retailer successCollaborate with Specialty Leasing to identify and implement ancillary revenue streamsCultivate community partnerships and represent the centre at local events and networking opportunitiesWhat We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field3-5 years of marketing experience in retail, shopping centers, or related consumer-facing industriesDemonstrated budget management experience with fiscal responsibility and financial trackingStrong analytical skills with ability to interpret sales data, market research, and performance metricsExceptional written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement and content creationEvent planning and project management experience with ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneouslyProficiency in digital marketing platforms, social media management tools, website content management systems, and Microsoft Office SuitePreferred Qualifications
Direct shopping center or retail property marketing experienceSales negotiation experience and relationship-building in retail environmentsAdvanced proficiency in digital marketing platforms, analytics tools, and marketing automation systemsExperience with media relations, press release writing, and public relations initiativesKnowledge of co-marketing strategies and tenant partnership program developmentEstimated compensation for this position:
68,600.00 – 84,100.00 CAD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
