What You’ll Be Doing
CIBC Global Asset Management is among the largest investment managers in Canada, with over $200 billion in assets under management. CIBC Global Asset Management offers and supports a variety of investment products to meet the needs of investors in the Institutional, Mass, Mid and High Net Worth market segments including: Renaissance Mutual Funds, Renaissance Private Investment Pools, CIBC Mutual Funds, Axiom Portfolios, Frontiers Pools, Personal Portfolio Services (PPS), Managed Portfolio Services (MPS), CIBC ETFs, CIBC Smart Investment Solutions, CIBC Education Portfolios, CIBC Sustainable Investment Strategies, CIBC Private Investment Counsel and Investment Consulting Services (ICS).
The Marketing Manager, CIBC Global Asset Management Sales Support will provide support for the CIBC Global Asset Management Global Distribution Team (GDT), primarily focusing on the Asset Specialist Group and National Sales channels. He or she is responsible for contributing the development, packaging and implementation of strategies, campaigns, messaging and programs to grow and retain product assets in their assigned category as well as enable the sales teams. To increase the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the firm’s resources, the candidate will also contribute to new continuous improvement ideas and initiatives within the team to ensure the best outcomes are delivered to business partners and our clients.

How You’ll Succeed
Channel marketing and sales support. Contributes to the strategic plan of the team by developing and implementing a range of best-in-class marketing initiatives. Possesses strong knowledge in the field of investment marketing, including principles, practices, processes, procedures, products and services. Creates and distributes content focusing on thematic and product support campaigns, advisor recognition programs and managed money offers. Thinks strategically and has the ability to align marketing strategies and plans to business objectives. Project and program management. Ability to manage complex projects that can involve many deliverables. Capable of managing multiple projects at one time with a strategic view of overall program and business strategy. Remains current with rapidly evolving financial services industry trends and is able to assess impact on strategy and marketing positioning. Balances needs of multiple stakeholders in the most effective and efficient manner, with the ability to meet tight delivery timelines.Business acumen. Possesses solid knowledge of the wealth management industry, with a strong understanding of advisor needs, market behaviour and economic trends. Able to help maintain and update a suite of physical and digital marketing support. Builds and maintains a solid level of knowledge on assigned funds and mutual fund/managed program categories. Capable of managing a broad and demanding range of responsibilities from strategic communication to tactical delivery.Who You Are
You are a strong communicator with the ability to tailor a verbal or written message to varied internal and external audiences. You can convey complex conceptual information and ideas on subjects that may not be well understood or that involve extensive interpretation and opinion. You can demonstrate 5+ years of financial services investment experience and knowledge of the fundamentals of capital markets, with an academic background and interest in marketing and investments. During this time, you have used MS Excel, PPT and Word to analyze and convey information in various ways. It is an asset if you have a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Marketing or Economics.You have 3+ years of product marketing experience within a financial services investment organization. You understand that success is in the details. You notice things that others don't. Your critical thinking skills help to inform your decision making.You embrace and champion change. You'll continuously evolve your thinking and the way you work in order to deliver your best. You apply significant creativity and innovative thinking to proactively develop novel, high-impact marketing support.You look beyond the moment.
