Marketing Legal Compliance Coordinator | Lithia & Driveway
Location: Medford, OR (Hybrid/Remote)

Compensation: The full salary range for this position is $50,000-75,000 annually. The anticipated starting pay is $50,000-$67,000, determined by factors such as skills, experience, and organizational considerations. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.

About the Role
The Marketing Legal Compliance Coordinator I supports a team responsible for ensuring all public-facing communications from Lithia Motors and our dealerships comply with federal and state regulations. This role partners closely with marketing, creative, and compliance teams to help protect the business while enabling effective, compliant advertising.

What You’ll Do

Complete training on advertising and legal compliance topics and apply reference materials during ad reviews

Review and verify the legal compliance of marketing and advertising materials across all public communication channels

Maintain organized file systems for approved ads and supporting documentation

Update and manage internal compliance reference documents and resources

Develop expertise in federal and state automobile advertising laws

Maintain a catalog of applicable state and federal laws for compliance review

Build knowledge of related compliance areas, including TCPA, Do-Not-Call, and privacy regulations

Conduct periodic compliance audits of Lithia dealership websites

Research advertising laws in new states and assist in creating compliance guides as Lithia expands

Identify opportunities to improve processes and make recommendations to the team

Proofread marketing and Legal & Advertising Department (LAD) materials for accuracy, spelling, and grammar

Create clear, easy-to-use compliance reference tools for creative and marketing teams

What You’ll Bring

Advanced reading and research skills, with the ability to absorb and interpret large volumes of detailed information

Strong business writing skills, including excellent spelling and grammar

Exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency

Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills

Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams while also working independently

Strong active listening skills and the ability to ask thoughtful, clarifying questions

Critical thinking skills to evaluate options, identify risks, and recommend solutions

Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) preferred but not required
