Marketing Executive (Arabic Speaker)
Job Description OVERVIEW/BASIC FUNCTION: The Marketing Executive is responsible for supporting the Communications function at Rosewood Abu Dhabi by managing and maintaining the hotel’s digital presence, marketing activities, and communication initiatives in line with Rosewood Hotels & Resorts standards. This role oversees the accuracy and consistency of the hotel website, digital screens, in-room iPads, and guest-facing online platforms, ensuring all assets remain updated and functional. The position is accountable for preparing and submitting creative assets to the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, coordinating with the Regional Digital Team, and producing timely reports that track marketing performance across social media, PR, and digital channels. The Marketing Executive also manages routine operational tasks such as purchase orders, expense reporting, menu approvals, email campaigns, guest feedback monitoring, social media engagement, and media hosting coordination. The Marketing Executive must continuously explore and adopt new digital tools and marketing innovations, maintain accurate marketing databases, and deliver comprehensive reports that measure ROI and campaign effectiveness. Ultimately, the Marketing Executive plays a key role in ensuring the consistency, creativity, and impact of Rosewood Abu Dhabi’s communication strategies, supporting the Director of Communications in achieving departmental objectives.
HIERARCHICAL COMPETENCES • Reports to Director of Communications on a daily activities and activities execution • Works independently on assigned tasks and supports the Director of Communications and Marketing Manager in achieving the departmental goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES: • Oversee and update the Rosewood Abu Dhabi website, ensuring accuracy and consistency with Rosewood Hotels & Resorts standards. Conduct regular content updates, site monitoring, and issue reporting. • Ensure all guest-facing digital assets (including hotel digital screens, in-room iPads, and online listings such as TripAdvisor) are consistently updated and accurate. Conduct software/content updates and functionality checks as required. • Prepare, organize, and submit digital and creative assets to the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system and liaise with the Regional Digital Team. • Submit purchase orders for marketing materials and prepare monthly status and expense reports. • Update TV Totem content and check asset functionality on a regular basis. • Compile and submit weekly performance reports and prepare monthly summary reports. • Review and approve menu content on a regular basis in coordination with F&B and the design team. • Respond to social media comments/messages daily and prepare monthly engagement summaries. • Respond to guest feedback and provide regular trend reviews. • Book and manage media hosting requirements and create alerts for upcoming events. • Coordinate and send monthly email campaigns, internal communications, and newsletters. • Prepare and distribute complimentary forms, ensuring proper booking and team notification. • Compile and submit comprehensive monthly reports covering: o Social Media: engagement metrics, follower growth, post performance. o PR KPIs: media coverage, sentiment analysis, event impact. o Digital Marketing: campaign ROI, website traffic, conversion rates, and data collection with preliminary analysis. • Ensure all campaigns are aligned with the hotel’s communications strategy and approved in a timely manner. • Build and maintain accurate marketing databases. • Monitor and adopt new digital and marketing tools to support innovation. • Carry out other duties as assigned by the Director of Communications.
QUALIFICATIONS:• Experience: Minimum two years’ experience in an applied “Service Sector,” Marketing role. • Education: College degree. • General Skills: Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a creative, clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest’s service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data. • Technical Skills: ? Website & content management, including CMS and digital asset organization ? Digital asset management (DAM) and platform updates ? Social media management and analytics ? Email marketing and campaign coordination ? Reporting, data analysis, and marketing KPIs ? Digital tools, software updates, and innovation adoption ? Marketing operations, including purchase orders and database management • Language: Required to speak, read and write English, with fluency in other languages preferred. • Licenses & Certifications: None required
