Reporting to UK General Manager for Allergan Aesthetics Based in Marlow office Part of the UK Senior Leadership team, responsible for UK & Ireland Allergan Aesthetics
Job Overview
To drive Allergan Aesthetics product lines, envisioning and executing marketing programmes to support brand, customer and consumer awareness and needs, whilst abiding by the relevant codes of conduct. Our Marketing Director will lead the marketing department and a cross functional matrix team to drive strategy, operational excellence and brand success. Play a very active role liaising with International Marketing and Commercial Operation organization to align on global plans.
We are looking for strong leadership and communication skills, and have significant aesthetics, consumer beauty or healthcare marketing experience. This is a highly rewarding role for somebody to lead key brands within a key market for Allergan Aesthetics, and help shape the future of the Industry.
Key Accountabilities
Financials
Participate in annual forecasting cycle as well as plan process including forecasting and expense planningRoutinely utilise market data to appraise brand performance and market evolution and take action as appropriateManage promotional budget to ensure that activities are conducted as per the brand plan and the affiliate strategyDevelopment of Brand strategy and tactical deployment
Lead the development of robust strategic plan for brands for the entire portfolioLead the development of annual cross functional and operational brand plans. Align full multichannel strategy (sales team, other channels) to strategic planCreate campaign assets for roll out to teams (e.g. Digital Sales Aids, Briefing Documents, Training Guides)Develop digital marketing programmes for portfolio (in line with GDPR and HCP compliance frameworks)Develop consumer campaigns for relevant parts of portfolioManage creative and medical communication agenciesPrepare and launch new products and categoriesEnsure clear cascade of strategy and plans throughout organization with specific emphasis on sales teamsInspire and lead a team
Lead, manage and develop the Marketing team to optimize their contribution to the business, enhance their work experience and develop their skillsWork with direct reports to create individual development plans, and follow up through regular meetings. Develop a team culture aligned to Allergan’s valuesLead cross functional marketing and brand meetingsQualifications
Experience/Knowledge
Must have prior consumer healthcare or beauty industry marketing experienceProduct launch experience at a Country or International levelExperience of strategic brand planning through to local executionExperience of hiring and managing external agencies (creative/med comms)Digital and consumer experience preferredSales/sales management experience or can demonstrate how they have gained strong understanding of customer needs/insights and applied these in their marketing careerPeople management / team leadershipBehaviours/Skills
