Overview 

We are seeking a strategic marketing and communications leader to lead the Spain’s marketing team. Spain’s marketing team is an essential part of our Spain business as well as the Global Marketing platform. The leader will work with the global business line marketing teams as well as our global CoE´s Brand, Comms and Digital functions to oversee all go-to-market activities in the Spanish market. 

The individual will play a pivotal role in developing local marketing campaigns, as well as internal and external communications, to tell one consistent narrative to our key audiences. They’ll bring client driven stories, messaging, communication themes, and campaigns to the Spanish market and help leverage the global business line campaigns and communications by localizing them for clients. By fusing client and audience driven marketing programmes and communications with local proof points, products, and processes the role will supercharge our demand generation and client engagement. 

The successful candidate will need to debate and influence our senior Spanish business leaders to ensure there is agreement and clear commercial priorities that will drive revenue and margin growth. The candidate has to be adept at building a robust commercial understanding and prioritization process while challenging business leaders to re-think their go-to-market approach. A strong understanding of the business lines, product offerings and current trends is critical to make decisions about where marketing and communication can best move the needle for the business. 


Key Responsibilities 

Ensure there is a holistic marketing plan that integrates the local requirements of business and client marketing with outputs from global business lines and objectives Create a strategy to manage local internal and external communications, in line with the business lines messaging themes and local thought leadership requirements, to increase brand confidence and engagement.Set, manage and monitor the marketing budget to agreed levels with the business stakeholders as well as global marketing leadership Be the voice for brand in the market by leveraging the global brand tools and guidelines Ensure brand campaigns fit into the local marketing plan and are presented to and understood by the local management board and the business teams Partner with the communications team to ensure integrated planning and consistent messaging. This includes working with communication colleagues and Service Line Communication Champions to ensure rolling out communication plansBe responsible for hitting agreed KPIs  Manage ad hoc internal communication projects as needed.Coordinate with global digital team based on the business needs the requirements for targeting  Align social networks to suit the local needs, fostering and spreading a digital culture Asses the participation in local and international real estate conferences and exhibitions Organization of ad hoc client events, seminars, workshops (no internal staff events) Partner with JLL's sales teams to strategies, plan and execute high-performing programs that differentiate the business and support the growth of the business Advise and support the leadership team to help bring the best of JLL to the client: JLL research and events, developing stories and materials to demonstrate the value being added, preparing quarterly and annual business review decks to showcase achievements.

Personal Attributes 

To be successful in this role, the successful candidate will need; 

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or another relevant field High proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.Minimum 10 years of related work experience, with emphasis on marketing and communications within the professional services realm; real estate industry experience a strong plus Excellent stakeholder management skills including the ability to work with and other country marketing leaders, product marketing teams, global functions and other marketing colleagues to drive success. Strong executive presence to successfully influence senior leaders across the JLL business to deliver the business line and regional marketing strategy Strategic thinking to drive alignment and consistency across different marketing plans and needs Commercial acumen and ability to prioritise spend based on a variety of factors including opportunity, audience dynamics, promotional mechanics and the return on marketing investment Outstanding leadership skills; a leader with a clear vision and the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams to deliver success To be comfortable with change and has the necessary skillset to drive change management in the business Good working knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel required  Strong digital skills with ability to master new technologies Impeccable attention to detail High level of resourcefulness Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with demanding work loads Positive, can do attitude
