What You Will Do:

The mission of the Customer Experience Team is to optimize the value of customer data for use in building direct customer relationships and delivering relevant customer experiences across The Walt Disney Company’s brands and businesses globally. As a central resource for company-wide customer data, the team partners with stakeholders across the company to establish data practices, policies and capabilities to collect, use and share data in support of business objectives, while maintaining respectful consumer data practices.  You’ll assist with planning and project management of data product initiatives and maintenance of business and technical documentation, along with data catalog maintenance including metadata management.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

Reviewing Disney business unit email marketing campaigns for brand and legal complianceMaintaining brand guidelines based on input from team subject matter expertsCoordinating with business unit partners on marketing and data quality initiativesConducting competitive research on customer information practices and user experience of other online propertiesCoordinating and updating guest-facing privacy content


Required Qualifications & Skills:

Strong proficiency in Microsoft OfficeHighly organized with project management skills and attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and on multiple projects with competing prioritiesInterest in improving guest experience through personalization and fair information practices


Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

Strong interest in the use of data for marketing and personalizationKnowledge or familiarity with data privacy issues, online registration, and email marketing a plus


Education:

Junior or Senior year preferredMajoring in Business, Communications, Marketing, Technology or related field
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney InternshipCurrent Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or programBe at least 18 years of agePossess unrestricted work authorization


Additional Information:

Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internshipThe approximate dates of this internship are January 2026 – June 2026, in Burbank, CAFull availability required to work full-time hours (approximately 40 per week) for the duration of the internship – 4 days in office, 1 day WFHAble to provide own housing and reliable transportation to/from work

The pay rate for this role in California is $22.50 per hour.
