This role is currently remote with occasional requirement to travel into the office or to a local (GTA) event. This is an 8-month co-op/internship opportunity.
Job Summary
As Marketing Coordinator, you will support the Marketing team in various capacities. The first several months of the contract will be focused more on Sponsorship needs, such as overseeing logistics and training of 40 grassroots soccer events. The back half of the contract will be focused on supporting Regional Marketing initiatives by assisting with creative requests from agency managers and agents, helping manage Marketing Hub (our online advertising platform), and contributing to the development of our new online advertising platform.
Key Responsibilities
Sponsorship: Support executing approximately 40 Soccer Fest (grassroots) events and assisting in the development and execution of The Allstate Soccer Show (TASS), plus additional Sponsorship duties as needed.
Soccer Fests will require liaising with Canada Soccer, working with event coordinators, training Allstate agents, shipping event kits to Allstate offices, and working with AIAs post-event.
TASS requirements will exist from early May until the day of the event (June 14, 2026) with varying hourly needs. Requirement will be to assist in working with event partners, like MKEM and T1 Futbol, as well as any partners that we oversee directly (e.g., VW).
Regional Marketing Support: Process marketing requests submitted through the Marketing Support inbox. Collaborate with key stakeholders including graphics, digital, and social media teams to complete requests. Workload varies based on volume; for example, May to November 2025 saw 385 requests.
Support Marketing Hub by adding tracking lines and QR Code URLs. Provide support for additional platform needs as they arise. Assist with key elements of building our new digital platform which is scheduled for launch in 2026.
Ad hoc support for marketing projects.
QualificationsEducation: Currently enrolled as a 3rd or 4th year undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal teams, agents, and external partners.
Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and organizational abilities; capable of handling multiple projects and requests simultaneously.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail when managing marketing requests and supporting event logistics.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data, perform business math, and contribute insights to marketing decisions.
Problem-Solving: Resourceful and proactive in addressing ad hoc project needs and resolving challenges as they arise.
Event Support Experience: Prior experience assisting with event planning, coordination, or execution, ideally related to sports or large-scale events.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Compensation
Expected compensation for this role ranges from $ 50,000.00-100,000.00 annually.
