Check out this new opportunity fresh from the Home Office! The Marketing Coordinator supports the development and execution of marketing programs that drive traffic and sales for the both the restaurants and retail business. The role coordinates campaigns, manages day-to-day marketing projects, and ensures consistent brand execution across video, social, digital, in-restaurant, shopper, out of home and other consumer touchpoints. This position provides critical support in meeting project timelines while upholding internal and external communication standards. This role is essential in supporting White Castle’s objectives by upholding a positive and consistent brand presentation across all communication mediums with consumers, restaurant operations, internal departments, team members, the sales network, and business partners. The Marketing Coordinator provides support critical to driving the Marketing Department's efficiency and use of resources through information organization and management. The role also provides support as a primary contact responding to consumer requests and organizing key brand touch points, like our Valentine's Day and Craver's Hall of Fame 'memorable moments'. 


What we are looking forBachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field of study preferred but not required;A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience within or outside White Castle in marketing related work is required;Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, plus project management software and Outlook required;Effective communication skills, both oral and written, as well as good judgment and solid people skills providing timely and consistent feedback to the marketing team and outside agency partners;Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills;Ability to work independently and in team environments;Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced work environment.

 

What you will doSupport system promotions for restaurants and retail by developing and executing assignments in a timely and budget-maximizing fashion to assist in achievement of project goals;Support restaurant regional and local marketing plans, including grand openings, restaurant remodels, and community events; coordinate creation and availability of local store marketing toolkits and the ordering of approved materials and swag;Assist retail with shopper marketing programs; provide support on packaging optimization for both restaurants and retail; serve as a primary contact for select third party partnerships that elevate brand profile;Interact with agency and marketing partners to guide creative development for local requests; share requests from operations and retail sales with respective Brand Managers for input/direction.Identify key efforts needed for execution like contract approvals, check requisitions, coupons printed, artwork, budget/invoice tracking and provide executional support for operations teams;Provide tactical support for team, as assigned.Execute brand-relevant program scope-of-work, as outlined by management, including maintaining budget, pricing levels and relationships with qualified vendors in supporting turnkey programs for the Castles;Maintain strong administrative support to source internal assets, keep marketing calendars current, manage billing and invoice payment, as well as out of home advertising contracts;Performs other duties as assigned.
