Marketing Coordinator
Description We are looking for an experienced Marketing Coordinator to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is a Contract to Permanent position within a dynamic non-profit organization, offering an opportunity to shape impactful communications and marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills to manage publications, digital content, and promotional materials. Responsibilities: • Manage the content creation, editing, and distribution of organizational publications, including newsletters. • Collaborate with editors and leadership to ensure all publications adhere to brand guidelines, grammar, and style standards. • Utilize InDesign to format and design text, graphics, and layouts for print and digital media. • Oversee the production and mailing of select hard copies of publications, while managing subscription processes. • Coordinate promotional materials such as flyers, press releases, and marketing collateral for events and courses. • Maintain and update the organization’s website and social media platforms, including Facebook, X, and YouTube. • Track and manage advertising inquiries, insertion orders, and invoicing for organizational publications. • Provide administrative support to committees, including preparing meeting agendas, recording minutes, and facilitating follow-up communications. • Ensure effective communication and marketing efforts targeted toward medical schools, residency programs, and organizations with a focus on precision and excellence. • Support the planning and execution of press releases and promotional campaigns to highlight organizational achievements. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. • Strong skills in graphic design software, particularly InDesign. • Demonstrated experience in managing social media platforms and website content updates. • Excellent copy editing and proofreading abilities with attention to grammar, spelling, and style. • Ability to handle administrative tasks such as data entry and correspondence with professionalism. • Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact effectively with C-Suite executives and stakeholders. • Familiarity with managing advertising processes and promotional campaigns is a plus.
