How will you make an impact in this role?

Our division is responsible for new card member acquisition in individual and corporate card market. The team conducts marketing activities across both digital (online) and offline channels, including digital advertising, direct mail (DM), and telemarketing. We also collaborate with external partners to create new business opportunities, sales promotions, and to manage various marketing activities.

In this position, the candidate will contribute to achieving the team’s goals by supporting a range of marketing initiatives, including digital advertising, new partner development, DM and telemarketing.

The role involves end-to-end support for marketing campaigns and promotions for card acquisition. Working closely with channel owners, external partners including major advertising agencies and media vendors, the candidate will support the execution of campaigns and promotions in line with approved strategies and budgets, assist with performance analysis, creative development, and budget allocation and management.

We welcome candidates who can process information and execute tasks accurately with a sense of urgency, while continuously developing their marketing skills and focusing on results. Analytical and logical thinking, a customer-oriented mindset, creativity, a strong sense of ownership, and effective communication skills are essential.

This position will initially focus on supporting team members and gaining an understanding of ongoing initiatives. Over time, the team will support to help the candidate grow into a more independent role and take ownership of assigned tasks.

 

Primary responsibilities include:

Support marketing initiatives and promotions, including campaign execution and analysis

Assist with execution of PDCA cycle to improve cost efficiency and overall campaign performance

Assist with performance tracking, reporting, and budget-related tasks

Support creative development and coordination

Collaborate and work with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support day-to-day operation

 

Qualifications:

(Required)

Ability to process information and execute tasks accurately with a sense of urgency

Proficiency in MS Office, notably Word, Excel and PowerPoint

1–2 years of marketing experience, with interest in marketing and a willingness to further develop related knowledge and skills

Ability to communicate effectively in both Japanese and English, verbally and in writing
(Comfortable communicating with overseas stakeholders in English)

Strong sense of ownership and responsibility with a proactive learning mindset and creativity

Team-oriented, with strong interpersonal and communication skills

Positive and flexible mindset, able to collaborate effectively with team members from diverse backgrounds and with different perspectives

Data-driven mindset with analytical skills and a strong motivation to achieve goals

Customer oriented mindset

Experience with DM, Telemarketing and digital advertising

Knowledge of credit card industry or financial industry
