The ASSA ABLOY Accessories Group is currently seeking a Marketing Specialist II to join our growing team. The Accessories Group includes ASSA ABLOY branded accessories including the McKinney, Pemko and Rockwood product lines, as well as the Glass Solutions Program. This position will be focused on driving demand generation and sales enablement specific to the Pemko, McKinney, and Lorient brands. As the Marketing Specialist II, you will be a key player in our team's success, responsible for launching innovative products to the market and keeping key stakeholders well-informed.
We are seeking an energetic, highly organized individual who can collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce new products, manage diverse sources of information, and effectively promote our market-leading innovations to key audiences in commercial B-to-B markets.
This role will collaborate with our team and colleagues 5 days/week onsite in our New Haven, CT, offices with occasional travel to our Berlin, CT and Memphis, TN locations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Play a key role in the product launch process, including collateral development and communication with product management, business development, sales teams and customers. Develop and implement a comprehensive 360 marketing plan to ensure a strategic and cohesive approach throughout the launch process.
Work closely with the Marketing Director to maintain and enhance brand messaging across digital channels, including the website, digital advertising, social media, and product documentation as well as manage external agencies in the production and distribution of content and advertising creative.
Contribute to the planning and execution of crucial demand generation activities, including lead generation campaigns, trade shows, events, and showrooms.
Create, coordinate, and distribute various content forms, including videos, brochures, presentations, and blogs, essential for SEO, lead generation campaigns, and sales enablement tools.
Coordinate the photography and production of photorealistic renderings for new product launches, campaigns, websites, and eCommerce shops.
Update and manage files within the digital asset management system, encompassing brochures, catalogs, and images.
Improve and refine processes for creating marketing collateral by identifying and addressing gaps to ensure a consistent level of sophistication.
Effectively manage relationships with various vendors as required, including graphic designers, photographers, videographers, freelance writers, and creative agencies.
Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the marketing initiatives.
Educational Requirements, Skills, and Abilities:
A bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field is highly preferred.
Minimum 5-7 years of product marketing experience, preferably in B-to-B.
Must have excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is a must.
Familiarity with Google Analytics, SEO/SEM, social media platforms, and Adobe Suite is a plus.
Knowledge of CMS platforms is a plus.
Possibility of occasional travel, up to 10%.
