About This Role
Textron Systems is hiring a Marketing Communications (MARCOM) Business Partner who will be based at the company’s New Orleans, Louisiana Shipyard. The team designates MARCOM Business Partners for each of our business lines, which are part of the company’s comprehensive portfolio of capabilities. MARCOM Business Partners serve as a first point of contact (POC) for emerging business line questions and requirements. Of equal importance, they work proactively with the business lines to discuss long-range business strategies including new business capture and keep-it-sold efforts. The Business Partners then engage the broader MARCOM team’s centers of excellence – Creative Services/Digital Development, External Communications, Employee Leader Communications, Trade Shows Events – to partner on development, execution and measurement of comprehensive, multichannel MARCOM strategies in support of their business line(s).
As a MARCOM Business Partner, you will:
•Work collaboratively with your assigned business lines at all levels, as well as with the broader MARCOM team, to create, execute and measure annual MARCOM plans, encompassing compelling campaigns and content that support domain strategies and growth.
•Use research, analytics and other resources to become an expert on stakeholder audiences.
•Research the competitive landscape to inform product/program positioning and messaging, and craft clear and compelling value propositions for our products and programs that differentiate us in the marketplace.
•Alongside the broader MARCOM team, develop, execute and measure MARCOM strategies tailored to specific audiences, ensuring that messaging aligns with each audience to drive engagement.
•Continuously improve results by evaluating and making decisions based on key performance indicators.
Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
•Establish and support product/program MARCOM campaigns as described above to drive revenue
•Maintain accountability for all timelines and budgets associated with plans and campaigns in support of your assigned domain(s)
•Develop and implement product/program content and updates across internal and external channels including digital, social and print
•Collaborate cross-functionally and with external partners to lead the creative development process for product/program MARCOM collateral, video, advertising, etc.
•Collaborate cross-functionally and with external partners to develop shot lists/storyboards, legal and security checks and execute photo and video shoots to support product/program MARCOM campaigns
•Timely project initiation to allow for ample production time on the part of internal and external teammates and review time by designated approvers
•Adhere to established policies, procedures and contractual obligations, including required internal and external approvals
•Support local, regional, national or international events (i.e., trade shows, demonstrations, team meetings, conferences, industry events) as necessary
•Other duties as assigned
