Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and creative individual to join our team as a Marketing & Communications/Admin Assistant with Graphic Design Skills. This multifaceted role will be responsible for supporting our marketing and communication efforts, providing administrative assistance, and creating visually engaging content for our website, social media platforms, and marketing materials. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with excellent communication (written and verbal), administrative, and graphic design skills. You will be comfortable working independently and collaboratively, managing multiple tasks, and contributing to the overall success of our marketing initiatives.

ResponsibilitiesDesign and create compelling visual content for various marketing channels, including website graphics, social media posts, and marketing materials.Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of social media content across various platforms.Assist with basic website updates, including uploading content and ensuring visual consistency.Design visually appealing email templates and assist with the creation and distribution of email marketing campaigns.Assist in the production and distribution of marketing materials.Support basic market research tasks as needed.Ensure all visual and written communication aligns with the company's brand guidelines.Assist in tracking the performance of marketing campaigns and providing basic reports.Draft and edit marketing and communication materials.Provide general administrative support, including managing phone calls, emails, and correspondence.Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and maintaining calendars.Prepare and format documents, presentations, and reports including expense reporting.Maintain organized filing systems and ensure efficient office operations.Accurately enter and maintain data in relevant systems.Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.Manage office supplies and place orders as needed.Perform other administrative tasks as assigned to support the smooth functioning of the team.Essential SkillsProven experience in a marketing, communications, administrative, or graphic design role.Strong proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva) or similar.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create clear, concise, and engaging content.Solid understanding of marketing principles and best practices for online and offline channels.Familiarity with social media platforms and their visual requirements.Basic understanding of website content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or similar.Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proactive and resourceful with a strong problem-solving attitude.A portfolio showcasing graphic design work for marketing purposes is required.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with WordPress & website design.Basic video editing skills.Knowledge of SEO principles.Associate or bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business Administration, or a related field.Work Environment

This position is fully on-site.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
