**Job Description Summary**
マーケティング&ストラテジー部のマーケティングコミュニケーションチーム全体(派遣社員および業務委託含む)をリードし、主には各種共催学会、イベント(ITEM、RNSA他)の企画、準備、運営までのPDCAを回し、顧客エンゲージメントを強化し、MQL獲得を目指します。
主要イベントに対するコストと効果を可視化し、コマーシャルチームと連携してROIを最大化します。
特に、プロジェクトマネジメントスキル、ステークホルダーマネジメント、コミュニケーションスキルが求められます。
このポジションはマーケティング&ストラテジーディレクターに直接レポートし、且つコンテンツマーケティングも一部担って頂きます。
This role is responsible for leading the entire Marketing Communications team within the Marketing & Strategy Department, including temporary staff and external contractors. The primary focus is to plan, prepare, and execute co-sponsored academic congresses and major events such as ITEM and RSNA, while driving the full PDCA cycle to strengthen customer engagement and generate Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs).
The position requires the ability to visualize and analyze the cost-effectiveness of key events, working closely with the Commercial team to maximize return on investment (ROI). Strong project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
This position reports directly to the Director of Marketing & Strategy and will also be partially responsible for content marketing initiatives.
**Job Description**
**Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)**
• Take ownership of all marketing communication initiatives across business segments (Imaging, Ultrasound, LCS, Academic, SV, etc.)
• Lead and improve the overall productivity and performance of the marketing communications team
• Plan, develop, and execute annual marketing communication programs
• Organize and manage key internal and external events and exhibitions (e.g., ITEM), maximizing return on investment (ROI)
• Create and manage project timelines to ensure smooth execution
• Ensure all deliverables and milestones are met, serving as the primary point of contact for related events
• Support and coordinate logistics and production aspects of events
• Manage relationships with agencies, event organizers, and platform partners
• Track and report key event metrics throughout the event lifecycle
• Oversee budget planning and execution for event-related activities
• Maintain and manage the events calendar (including academic congress sponsorships and exhibitions) to avoid scheduling conflicts and enhance stakeholder visibility
• Organize operational mechanisms (OpMechs) for event and exhibit planning in collaboration with marketing leadership and cross-functional teams
• Drive proactive cross-functional communication regarding production timelines and processes
• Demonstrate early forecasting ability for resource needs based on organizational workload
• Contribute to the development of best practices in cross-channel marketing processes and performance monitoring
• Support the Marketing & Strategy Director and lead team members in the Content Marketing function
• Lead the project to establish a Content Marketing platform in Japan based on GEHC brand guideline
**Qualifications/Requirements**
• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, accompanied by a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience
• Demonstrated excellence in project management, with a proven ability to lead and execute complex, cross-functional initiatives
• Substantial experience in event marketing, including the end-to-end management of large-scale exhibitions, conferences, and seminars
• Comprehensive knowledge of marketing principles, including environmental analysis, strategic planning, and market positioning
• Proficiency in campaign development, implementation, and performance evaluation
• Prior experience in people management, with the ability to lead, mentor, and develop team members effectively
• Strong proactive mindset, with the capacity to anticipate challenges and implement preemptive solutions
• Highly developed logical reasoning and analytical thinking skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to convey complex information clearly and persuasively
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Proficiency in business-level English, both spoken and written, sufficient for professional communication and documentation
**Preferred qualifications**
• Large and complex project management experience
• Experience working in a healthcare environment
• Content Marketing, Customer Success, Digital Marketing experience
• Experience working successfully in large matrixed environments
• Ability to influence people and change
