Marketing Assistant
Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Marketing Assistant for our client in New Orleans, Louisiana. In this short-term contract to full time position, you will support various marketing initiatives, including event coordination, social media management, and corporate communications. This role is perfect for someone eager to contribute creatively while ensuring smooth execution of marketing projects. Responsibilities: • Assist in the planning and execution of email marketing campaigns to drive engagement and brand awareness. • Coordinate and manage logistics for corporate events, ensuring all details are handled effectively. • Contribute to social media strategies by creating and scheduling posts across multiple platforms. • Support podcast production, including recording and editing, to enhance content delivery. • Maintain calendars and schedules for marketing activities to ensure deadlines are met. • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional strategies. • Monitor and report on the performance of various marketing efforts to optimize results. • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for efficient documentation, reporting, and communication. • Ensure consistency in brand messaging across all marketing channels. • Provide administrative support for marketing projects as needed. Requirements • Previous experience in marketing or related fields is preferred. • Proficiency in managing email campaigns and social media platforms. • Strong organizational skills, particularly in scheduling and event coordination. • Familiarity with podcast production and recording processes is a plus. • Ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Capacity to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. • Creative mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
