As a Vice President under Marketing and Communications for Southeast Asia (excluding Singapore), and Payments and Corporate Banking Asia Pacific, you will lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing and communications strategies. You will work closely with business and corporate function stakeholders to deliver proactive, impactful campaigns both internally and externally. You will report to the Head of APAC Marketing and Communications and play a key role in driving the firm’s reputation and business objectives across the region.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and execute integrated internal and external marketing and communications strategies aligned with business objectivesDrive media strategies for Asia Pacific and ASEAN franchises, delivering impactful coverage across priority media platformsCreate and deliver high-quality, compelling content, including thought leadership, internal articles, announcements, executive speeches, and talking points for various channels, including social mediaManage and partner with multiple local, regional, and global stakeholders, both internally and externally, within a regional team environmentProvide counsel and guidance to senior executives and stakeholders on communications-related matters, including reputational riskLead effective issue management communicationsOversee the planning and implementation of marketing campaigns and events to support business growth and brand positioningEnsure consistency and alignment of messaging across all communications channelsMonitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing and communications initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvementFoster a collaborative and high-performing team cultureRepresent the marketing and communications function in cross-functional projects and initiativesRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Minimum 8 years of experience in corporate communications, media relations, or financial journalismProven track record of delivering impactful media coverage in top-tier business, mainstream, or priority publicationsDemonstrated ability to create and deliver high-quality content, in corporate and investment banking or financial innovationExperience leading and developing high-performing teamsExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage confidently with senior executivesStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and deliver against tight deadlines in a fast-moving environmentExceptional judgment and experience managing reputational risk, issues management, and advising senior executives on strategyPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
