Description of Job Position Description The Marketing and Communications Intern will report to the Deputy Film Commissioner, and Senior Program Manager and work with the Marketing and Communications team (MarComm). The Marketing and Communications Intern will support the implementation of a comprehensive communications strategy for the Department, with an emphasis on communications, directories, social media and website management. The Marketing and Communications Intern will help promote the COFTM brand business objectives, OEDIT programs and messages to target audiences and key constituents. Key Duties and Responsibilities + Assist the COFTM team to implement a multi-channel marketing strategy and a comprehensive communication strategy for the organization and constituents. + Support clear communications with constituents by creating fact sheets, helping create directories, calendars, one sheets and other public relations collateral including invitations, messaging, updates, documents and other internal and external communications. + Collaborate with the COFTM Program Manager and MarComm team on scheduling and drafting social media content across multiple channels. + Update draft website content periodically in alignment with division and program updates, accessibility standards including but not limited to fixing broken links, adding alt text, updating tables, and supporting redirects while following MarComm team processes. + Support organizing contact lists for newsletters, emails and outreach. + Support the COFTM and MarComm teams with tracking metrics + Assist with preparing materials for events, meetings, trainings and summits. + Help order, maintain and organize materials and collateral. + Assist with other COFTM team responsibilities, as needed. Supplemental Information Pay Rate: $19.00/hr This position is considered non-classified, which means the position is not part of the Colorado State Personnel System. Therefore, the individual appointed to this position is considered at-will, and is not covered by the State Personnel Rules or the State Classification System.
