Marketing Analyst - Intermediate

Pay Rate: $37 Location: Toronto ON Job Type: Contract Our client, a Top 5 Canadian Bank, is looking to hire a Marketing Analyst for a 12-month contract (with potential extension or conversion to FTE). This is a hybrid position based in Toronto, with in-office work required every Thursday and the fourth Friday of each month, with occasional additional in-office attendance for special meetings or events.
Responsibilities Support the development and delivery of direct marketing campaigns for credit cards, ensuring alignment with the 1-2-year marketing plan and business revenue targets. Manage the end-to-end campaign execution process, working with cross-functional teams, external agencies, and production partners to deliver high-quality client communications. Oversee creative development, ensuring brand compliance, and manage the internal approval process, including legal and compliance reviews. Build strong relationships with internal business partners, becoming a trusted advisor on competitive insights, client engagement strategies, and campaign optimization. Leverage analytics to measure campaign effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and embed results-driven learning into future initiatives. Monitor and manage marketing budgets, ensuring accurate cost estimates and maximizing ROI across channels. Provide regular updates and maintain strong communication with key stakeholders on campaign progress, risks, and outcomes. Proactively identify new and effective approaches for delivering direct marketing communications that drive engagement and retention. Must-Have Skills 1+ years of experience managing creative and marketing communications processes across direct and interactive channels (marketing project management). 1+ years of financial services experience, ideally with retail banking products; credit card marketing experience strongly preferred. Experience producing client-facing email marketing communications. Experience managing budgets, including cost tracking and estimates. Undergraduate degree in Marketing or equivalent related experience. Nice-to-Have Skills 3+ years of experience working with a marketing or creative agency. Copywriting experience or familiarity. Technical understanding of how client emails are built and executed.
