Responsibilities The Opportunity The Marketing Activation Specialist brings consumer journey strategies to life by configuring and deploying Customer Relationship Management and loyalty campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You will activate multi-step, multi-channel journeys—applying personalization rules, business logic, and channel tactics to deliver relevant messages at scale. As the hands-on expert in journey configuration and campaign deployment, you will empower brands across the sector to deliver consistent, timely, high-impact communications across email, mobile notifications, and other owned channels. Your Impact As a Marketing Activation Specialist, you will: Build and deploy multi-step consumer journeys using self-service tools in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, translating strategy into effective execution. Configure journeys across email, mobile notifications, and text messaging—using logic such as timing rules, decision splits, and personalized content. Confirm that all required inputs, including audiences, templates, links, and legal content, are complete and functioning before launch. Monitor live journeys to identify operational issues and make real-time adjustments that ensure campaigns run smoothly. Implement accurate targeting logic, entry criteria, timing rules, and frequency controls in alignment with the strategic brief. Apply tracking parameters, campaign identifiers, and metadata to ensure clean, reliable reporting and measurement downstream. Partner with the Performance and Insights Analyst to align on campaign outcomes and share platform-driven observations after launch. Identify repeatable logic and propose modular journey structures, maintaining documentation and best practices to improve efficiency and scalability. Qualifications Who Are We Looking For? 3–5 years of experience in Customer Relationship Management operations, campaign activation, or lifecycle marketing, ideally in large, multi-market organizations. Fluent English Hands-on experience launching and managing campaigns in platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud or equivalent email service providers. Strong functional knowledge of platform modules including journey configuration, email, mobile, and automation tools. Proven ability to translate marketing strategy into multi-step journeys using timing rules, decision splits, filters, and dynamic content. Experience managing complex campaign calendars, coordinating multiple activations across channels simultaneously. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a focus on identifying and resolving campaign setup issues or performance anomalies. High attention to detail, process orientation, and commitment to flawless campaign execution. Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with audience, content, quality assurance, and technical teams to ensure aligned execution.
