As the MarketCenter Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying and meeting dealer needs through driving business initiatives with new and existing vendors. The candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for the vast range of MarketCenter’s book of business, which is comprised of 70+ Dealer supplier accounts. Through this you will leverage your expertise in relationship building and creative thinking to build upon our partnerships with both our dealers and suppliers in an evolving landscape where the main goal is to support sales and service growth as well as all operation’s needs. Your main focus will be on engaging with key groups to identify opportunities for growth and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Relationship Management - Serve as the go-to resource for our MarketCenter business partners to cultivate and maintain strong relationships, ensuring alignment between dealer needs and their offerings Supplier Outreach - Identify, vet, and launch new dealer-focused suppliers alongside oversight of current supplier relationships in an effort to improve all aspects of Stellantis dealer operations through increased profitability Contract Development - Develop and negotiate contract terms with all potential new partnering suppliers, including exclusive MarketCenter dealer pricing, and MC administration fees Business Development - Identify and pursue business development opportunities in all facets of the MarketCenter space including offerings, ease of billing, operational efficiencies of the program and increased awareness of the program Intercompany Relations and Partnerships - Collaborate with key groups to understand their goals, current challenges and behaviors to tailor solutions that meet their specific needs designed to increase our focus on customer centricity Financial Management - Ongoing management and tracking of supplier’s accounts receivables (dealer consolidated billing), accounts payable (supplier payments), and department profit targets via the PentaSAP system Develop strategic plans to prospect & engage new suppliers to expand and grow our offerings Create robust marketing plans and tactics to drive awareness of the program and communicate them via all digital and traditional channels such as eMail, website, dealer meetings, internal presentations and promotional flyers Review monthly performance metrics and scorecards with key suppliers to identify areas of strength and collaborate on where there is opportunity Monitor the competitive landscape and industry trends to identify new business opportunities and needs in the always evolving automotive industry Manage and collaborate with the Shift Digital MarketCenter team to ensure streamlined processes are in place, tasks are completed efficiently; utilizing out of the box thinking so that creative ideation is at the forefront of every practice within MarketCenterBasic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree 5+ years of experience in sales, aftersales or marketing, preferably in the automotive industry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with both our external vendors and internal partners Strong negotiation skills with a sales mentality and vast experience with analytics Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Self-starter with demonstrated ability to achieve goals and prioritize with minimal supervisionPreferred Qualifications:
MBA 10+ years’ experience in Sales, Marketing, Aftersales and/or Finance in the Automotive Industry 5+ years’ experience within supplier relations
