Job Description

Job Summary:
As a Procurement Specialist, you will contribute to Philips' offering of medical equipment, services, and software to customers across ASEAN PAC Zone. Supporting the sales and services organization while bridging connections with Business Units and Global Category Procurement, you will ensure compliance, quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery for all third-party products and services (e.g., medical devices, building works, installation services).

Your role:

Procurement Management: Oversee €20M in spend across 80 suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness, compliance, and supply reliability.

Stakeholder Engagement: Represent Procurement and collaborate with Business Marketing Leaders, Service Leaders, Supplier Quality, Supply Chain, and Legal teams.

Supplier & Project Oversight: Balance a project-based approach with category management, promoting standardized catalog items for efficiency.

Regulatory & Compliance Assurance: Ensure 100% compliance with local regulations, Quality Management Systems (QMS), master agreements, cybersecurity directives, and internal policies.

Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, proposing and implementing key process changes with stakeholders.

Strategic Procurement Implementation: Support the Market Procurement Leader in executing country-specific procurement strategies.

Cost Reduction & Productivity: Develop and maintain a short- and mid-term productivity pipeline, optimizing profit & loss (P&L) impact through supplier consolidation, cost redesign, and negotiation strategies.

Risk & Performance Management: Maximize supply assurance to safeguard revenue and customer satisfaction while managing supplier segmentation, consolidation, risk assessment, and performance tracking.

Integrated Supply Chain Role: Report to the Market Procurement Leader – International Markets, aligning procurement strategies with the broader Integrated Supply Chain & Procurement organization.


You're the right fit if:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Procurement (preferred).

7-10 years of experience in Direct Procurement, Supply Chain, or Project Management within a global MedTech matrix environment.

Knowledge of medical devices, third-party branded equipment, installation, repair services, and regulatory compliance is a plus.

Experience in sales, marketing, or project management is an advantage.

Lean certification or experience with process improvement methodologies is beneficial.

Strong business acumen, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

A customer-first mindset, balanced with a strong commitment to compliance.
