SUMMARY
The Market President III manages multiple branches or markets with total assets in excess of $700MM. This position leads employees in the achieving the bank's goals, mission, vision, and values through effectively executing the Service Commitments. This position is also accountable for managing the bank's resources in a manner that will enhance its visibility, positively contribute to the revenue growth, and maximize profitability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Represents and promotes First Interstate Bank, professionally, in the communities in their market.Engages with client relationships and assists with the Officer Call Program and other business development programs.Participates in community activities and events.Monitors credit portfolios.Contributes to branch profitability through loan interest spreads, fee incomes, and cost controls.Makes credit decisions within lending authority.Keeps the Chief Business Officer and the Chief Credit Officer informed of credit trends and shares outlook performance of individual loans.Serves as a resource to assigned personnel to resolve questions or issues beyond their scope and/or capabilities.Establishes goals and objectives for assigned personnel while monitoring productivity and performance on a continual basis.Contributes to strategic level discussions with the Executive Leadership Team.Provides practical, relevant, ideas and perspectives on existing processes and process improvement.


MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages multiple branches or markets.Provides leadership while supervising and managing staff.Counsels and trains staff to insure consistent results and proper administration of controls.Provides quality feedback and performance evaluations in order to develop and retain talent.


QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Extensive knowledge of credit principles and practices, lending laws, and regulations.Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer relationships.Excellent communication skills including the ability to present in small and large groups, including the ability to communicate with affluent clients, prospects, and branch employees.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency with personal computers and related software packages such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree required10+ years bank management experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience requiredProven leadership experience to include experience with budgets and achieving financial results required


LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

Valid Driver’s License required

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

We offer a competitive total compensation package including base salary and benefits. The anticipated pay range for this position is $178,200 to $293,920 per year in WA and depends on a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills and experience, education, and geographic location. Additionally, this role is eligible to receive annual discretionary cash and stock bonuses. Benefits available for this position include, but are not limited to, medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability benefits and life insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings account, employee assistance program, 401(k), Paid Time Off (new hires accrue at .069 per hours worked which equates to approximately 18 days per year inclusive of paid sick time) and up to 11 paid Federal holidays.
