PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The main purpose of the Market Intelligence Analyst is to collect, analyze and interpret data to provide valuable insights into market dynamics and trends, competitors activities and consumer behavior. Also to be able to analyze sales data, business & category performance by key indicators. Ability to make presentations and present key outcomes to different types of stakeholders (Head of Functions, other departments teams, line manager).
Responsibilities also include to investigate Market & Industry development, preparing reports and offer strategic recommendations to support business decisions and focuses.
OBJECTIVES:
Gathering & analyze internal / external market information on tobacco and nicotine production and sales volumes, consumption trends and total market dynamicsConducting in-depth analysis of price dynamics, demand patterns, consumer preferences, retail structure and other factors influencing the tobacco categoryStudying and analyzing competitors’ strategies, product & brand portfolios, and other trade and marketing activitiesProviding forecast based on actual data & other market trends and emerging patterns in the nicotine industryDeep understanding and leading methodology for setting business KPI’s based on Companies’ year plan. Regular alignment of the KPI/OPI with sales teamsCollaboration with cross-functional teams to align strategies and ensure a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics within different business recommendationsLeveraging internal tools and systems for efficient data analysisKeeping up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies and regulatory changes impacting the businessREQUIREMENTS:
High degree in marketing, economics, statistics or related fields2+ years of working experience in information management, business intelligence / analytics/insightsStrong analytical and quantitative skills to interpret complex data setsFamiliarity with data analysis tools and software for processing and interpreting market dataEffective communication skills for presenting findings and insights to stakeholdersEnglish: Intermediate; Ukrainian: nativeAdvanced PC Skills: MS Office with the focus on Excel & Power point – working with large data.Knowledge of business systems and databases maintenance and support, knowledge of MS SQL; knowledge of Tableau and Microsoft Power BI is a big advantage.What we offer
