Job Summary and Responsibilities
The Market Director - Patient Care Services and Quality Arizona is responsible for leading the design, coordination, implementation and management of ambulatory practices related to quality, safety and clinical practice for our Arizona medical group operations. This Nursing Leader (AZ RN) identifies opportunities for improved ambulatory patient care, incorporating evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes for the market.
This key position will oversee an ambulatory quality team and provide leadership in defining, implementing and integrating quality, safety, service and efficiency strategies into the plans, policies, and organization processes that affect the organization's operations and strategic direction.
Note: Position requires frequent car travel within Arizona facilities. Overnight travel is infrequent.
Job Requirements
Minimum Education:
Bachelors of Nursing (BSN).Minimum Experience:
Five (5) years progressive management responsibility in an ambulatory care setting,Three (3) of which are related to managing an organization’s quality improvement plan.Experience developing and implementing clinic, service and operational process improvement initiatives, both small and large scale.Current knowledge of regulatory requirements for ambulatory care services (e.g. state, federal, local regulations,etc.).Required Licenses:
Registered Nurse: Arizona (RN:AZ).Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training Required:
Ability to use personal computer applications including Microsoft Office applications, Internet and email functions.Preferred Education and Experience:

Dignity Health Medical Group is the employed physician group of Dignity Health. Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) employs approximately 400 providers and 1,200 total employees that cover a wide variety of specialties. The medical group has had tremendous success over the past few years and now provides more than 73 subspecialty services. The physicians provide clinical services in their areas of specialty and many serve in pivotal academic, research and leadership roles.
DHMG is also heavily involved in preparing tomorrow's healthcare providers. DHMG has 84 medical school students and approximately 200 residents and fellows throughout the 25 academic programs. Clinical services are complemented with translational and bench research to augment medical education for residents and students.
