Market Development Senior Manager

The Market Development Senior Manager owns and leads the organization’s market development strategy, driving strong market positioning, accelerated growth, and measurable long-term business impact.

This role bridges Product, Marketing, and Sales, translating complex technological capabilities into clear, differentiated market value and scalable go-to-market execution.

The position oversees multiple strategic domains- Market Development, Creative Hub, and Sales Enablement- and ensures alignment across strategy, messaging, and field enablement to meet evolving customer and business needs. Operating in a highly matrixed environment, the role partners closely with senior leadership and serves as a key driver of cross-functional execution.
 

Key Responsibilities

Define and execute the end-to-end market development strategy, aligned with business objectives, portfolio priorities, and growth targets

Lead and scale three core functions: Market Development, Creative Hub, and Sales Enablement

Develop clear value propositions, positioning, and messaging for complex products and solutions

Generate actionable market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer understanding to influence portfolio strategy and business decisions

Deliver high-impact sales enablement tools, content, and narratives that accelerate pipeline and revenue

Drive cross-functional collaboration with Product, Sales, and Regional Marketing to ensure successful go-to-market execution

Present strategies, plans, and performance outcomes to senior stakeholders and executive leadership with credibility and executive presence

Translate strategy into execution through structured planning, prioritization, and measurable KPIs
 

Key Requirements

10+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Market Development, or related strategic marketing roles

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Engineering background – advantage); MBA – advantage

Proven leadership experience managing managers and/or multiple functional domains

Strong strategic, analytical, and data-driven mindset with the ability to translate market and customer insights into business impact

Ability to simplify complex technologies into clear value propositions and go-to-market strategies

Experience working effectively in matrixed, cross-functional environments

Track record of driving execution and delivering measurable results

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills

Willingness to travel as required
