Job Description

Lead the Market Access Value Proposition strategy for Onco-hematology, ensuring the development and execution of strong value propositions aligned with brand priorities, stakeholder needs, and the local healthcare environment. 

This role acts as a strategic interface between Market Access, Government Affairs, Medical, Marketing, Regulatory, and other key functions, ensuring the proper integration of evidence, access, positioning, and advocacy to maximize patient access to AbbVie Onco-hematology solutions.

Key responsibilities

Onco-hematology value proposition strategyDefine, lead, and adapt the Onco-hematology value proposition strategy according to portfolio priorities, stakeholder needs, and the local contextEnsure value propositions are supported by clinical, pharmacoeconomic, and outcomes evidence relevant to payers and decision makersOversee the execution of tactical access value proposition plans for the onco-hematology portfolio.Pricing, reimbursement, and accessSupport the definition of pricing, reimbursement, and market access strategies for Onco-hematologyEnsure early anticipation of assessment processes, HTA reviews, and changes in the competitive or regulatory environmentLead the preparation of access materials and arguments for internal and external committeesEvidence and HEORIdentify local evidence needs and coordinate with Medical and other functions the generation of studies, analyses, and economic models.Ensure adaptation of HEOR models to the local environment, including HTA requirements, payers, and other decision makers.Drive the incorporation of relevant access-related endpoints and evidence needs into clinical studies and medical programs.Stakeholder engagementMaintain ongoing relationships with key stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem, including payers, healthcare authorities, onco-hematology pharmacist and KOLsCapture market and customer insights to anticipate trends, risks, and opportunities.Coordinate effectively with National MA Mgr. and Regional MA Mgrs.  to ensure the best support to MA IFT (tasks planning & priorization…)Strategic Health Initiatives Coordinate effectively with GA Lead to define and implement strategic health initiatives in Onco-hematology to improve the care model, elevate the SoC and elevate its priority in SpainMarket monitoring and intelligenceMonitor the healthcare environment, public policy, access decisions, and oncology trends.Communicate opportunities and risks in a structured way to the Onco-hematology BTsMaintain an up-to-date view of the competitive landscape and its impact on local access.Cross-functional leadershipLead cross-functional coordination with Pricing & Reimbursement, Medical, Marketing, Regulatory, Finance, Field Market Access, and Government AffairsEnsure alignment between the value strategy, the brand plan, and the overall access strategyTranslate business needs into concrete actions for the MAVP Onco-hematology teamTeam leadershipManage, develop, and provide direction to the Onco-hematology MAVP ManagersSet priorities, objectives, and execution follow-up.Foster collaboration, capability building, and operational excellence within the team.
Qualifications

Experience

Minimum 6–8 years of experience in Market Access, Value Proposition, HEOR, Pricing/Reimbursement, or related roles.Proven experience in onco-hematology or specialty care is strongly preferred.Experience working cross-functionally with Medical, Commercial, and Government Affairs teams.Experience leading people and projects is required.

Knowledge

Deep knowledge of the Spanish healthcare environment, reimbursement pathways, and market access processesStrong understanding of HTA, HEOR, and pharmacoeconomic principles.Knowledge of payer mindset and institutional decision-makingUnderstanding of pharmaceutical marketing and brand planning processesFluent English; Spanish native or fluent
