**The Position**
Exciting Leadership Opportunity in Market Access for a Multi-Billion Dollar Brand – Jardiance

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic leader to join our Market Access function for Jardiance, a multi-billion-dollar brand that continues to make a profound impact on patients' lives worldwide.
In this role, you will lead a highly skilled team of four professionals and drive key initiatives in Pricing, Market Access, Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR), Loss of Exclusivity (LoE) projects, and Payer Marketing. You will collaborate closely with global, regional, and affiliate stakeholders across functions to ensure the continued success and accessibility of Jardiance in a competitive market landscape.

**Tasks & responsibilities**
+ Shape and drive the global market access strategy and integrate it seamlessly into the broader brand strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
+ Demonstrate the product's value proposition effectively to payers and other key stakeholders. You will create and deliver a differentiated and compelling payer-focused value proposition that addresses unmet needs and resonates with healthcare systems, payers, and decision-makers.
+ Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members, including regional and local colleagues, to prepare the market for current and future needs and overcome obstacles to the wide adoption of therapy.
+ Align evidence generation plans (e.g., RWE, HEOR, PMO) with the value proposition and address evidence gaps. You will work closely with the Medical Affairs team to integrate clinical, RWE, and health-economic evidence, effectively supporting value demonstration and payer decision-making.
+ Lead and develop a high-performing Market Access team, fostering a culture of trust, collaboration, and psychological safety. You will attract, retain, and develop talent within the Market Access team to ensure long-term success.
+ Manage the market access budget and plan in alignment with Boehringer Ingelheim and Alliance priorities, ensuring efficient resource allocation and alignment with brand priorities.
**Requirements**
+ A visionary leader with deep expertise in market access and commercialization, extensive experience required in developing and executing global/regional/local market access strategies, integrating payer insights, and aligning with therapeutic area priorities to ensure sustainable patient access
+ Strong expertise in value-based pricing, evidence generation, and payer-focused value propositions to address healthcare system needs and support successful commercialization
+ Ability to align cross-functional teams, addressing evidence gaps, and shaping external environments to ensure successful and sustainable patient access
+ People Leadership - proven leadership in managing high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, and driving innovative approaches to market access
+ Experience from one of the major markets, regions and/or global is key - deep understanding of global healthcare systems (US, EU, Japan) and market dynamics, with the ability to adapt strategies to archetype-specific requirements for optimal brand execution
+ Strategic foresight, adaptability, and the ability to navigate diverse global and regional challenges while fostering collaboration and driving innovation to maximize the brand
