Market Access Director -ADC- Rungis H/F

The ADC Market Access Director is accountable for designing, anticipating, and executing market access strategies that secure optimal reimbursement, pricing, and coverage for the Advanced Diabetes Care (ADC) portfolio. The role ensures sustainability of access for the current reimbursed portfolio and successful market entry of innovative ADC solutions by proactively managing payer expectations, health policy evolution, and key stakeholder engagement within the healthcare ecosystem.

Key mission objectives:

Sustain and optimize economic conditions for the current reimbursed ADC portfolio.Achieve reimbursement, define pricing strategies, and negotiate coverage for new ADC products representing >€250M in annual value.Anticipate and respond to upcoming market access challenges through proactive, evidence-based strategies.Strengthen ADC’s role as a long-term partner in diabetes care by supporting innovative care pathways and ecosystem-based initiatives.

Key responsabilities:

Market Access Strategy Leadership & Team DevelopmentLead, coach, and develop the Market Access Specialist team to ensure excellence in execution and strategic alignment.Continuously assess team skills, capabilities, and knowledge; define and implement targeted development and training plans in line with: Human Resources policies / ADC division and business strategyFoster a high-performance, collaborative, and development-driven team culture.Anticipate market access risks through continuous analysis of health policy changes, payer expectations, and reimbursement trends impacting on-market products.Maintain an up-to-date mapping of reimbursement, pricing, and coverage requirements by payer type.Consolidate insights into a clear local market access strategy and implementation plan, aligned with short-term and mid-term business objectives.Develop and oversee launch plans for new ADC products, including local coding, coverage, and payment pathway requirements.

Market Access Local Expert

Act as a recognized local expert in HTA (Health Technology Assessment) and evidence-based medicine (EBM) relevant to ADC solutions, including BGM, CGM, and integrated digital offerings.Build and maintain trusted, strategic relationships with: Key Opinion Leaders / Payers and insurers / Health authorities and influential institutional stakeholdersAnticipate payer agendas, priorities, and policy developments in order to proactively adapt market access strategies.Actively contribute to ADC’s global market access network by: Providing high-quality local insights / Sharing best practices

Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem Development

Identify, evaluate, and develop strategic partnership opportunities with industry players, digital health companies, start-ups, and technology innovators.Drive partnerships enabling new ADC extensions or segments of care, including: Telemonitoring and remote patient management solutions /Closed-loop and automated insulin delivery ecosystems /AI-based applications (decision support, predictive analytics, population health tools)Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Digital Health, Innovation, Legal, and Global teams.Assess the market access, reimbursement, and health-economic implications of partnership or service-based models to ensure scalability and payer adoption.Support the design of innovative value propositions, bundled offerings, or service models that increase ADC differentiation and access in evolving healthcare systems.

Care Pathway Innovation & Regional Health System Engagement (Franc

Monitor, identify, and actively support national and regional initiatives aimed at improving diabetes management and care coordination within the French healthcare system.Engage with regional health authorities (ARS) to understand priorities, Regional Health Plans (PRS), and funding mechanisms related to chronic disease and diabetes care.Identify and promote collaboration with territorial healthcare organizations, including:CPTS (Communautés Professionnelles Territoriales de Santé) /DAC (Dispositifs d’Appui à la Coordination) /ESP (Équipes de Soins Primaires) and other multidisciplinary care structuresSupport and contribute to innovative regional programs, such as:Integrated diabetes care pathways / Disease-management initiatives /Telemonitoring and remote patient follow-up programs /Structured patient education and therapeutic education (ETP)Encourage and facilitate the development of local and regional HCP networks (hospital-city coordination, endocrinologists, GPs, nurses, pharmacists) organized around the patient living with diabetes.Identify opportunities to participate in or support regional pilot projects and national experimentation frameworks (e.g. Article 51 initiatives), ensuring strategic alignment with ADC value propositions.

Academic background and experience

Doctorate or Master’s degree in: Pharmacy/ Medecine /Life Sciences / Public Health / Health Policy...Minimum 5 years of experience in Pharmaceutical or medical device industry or Health policy, payer organizations, Ministries of Health, or disease-management institutions.Strong background in Market access and reimbursement / Evidence-based medicine and/or public health/ Health economics or outcomes researchDemonstrated experience or exposure to:Team leadership and talent development /Care pathway innovation and regional health systems /Ecosystem-based and partnership-driven healthcare modelsStrong leadership, strategic thinking, and cross-functional influence capabilities.English : Fluent
