Market Access, Manager/ Senior Manager
Job Summary

You will manage the important role of creating and executing comprehensive Market Access strategies through the integration of pricing and reimbursement, health technology assessment, evidence-based medicine review, and health economic modelling activities, as well as providing patient experience by understanding needs of patients in the market to achieve better state of care through key stakeholder engagement. Through your expertise in this domain, you will develop an integrated approach for all aspects of the payer value proposition from early development through and beyond loss of exclusivity (LOE).  

 

You will work collectively with payers, reimbursement influences (e.g. HCPs, institutions, patient advocacy organizations), decision makers and internal stakeholders (Medical, Marketing, Sales, Strategic Healthcare Partner and Health Solutions Partner) to design and execute market access strategy to increase equity of access to our treatment.  You will conduct strategic studies with the end consumer in mind and work with health economics and outcomes research to design pricing strategy. You will be proactive in maximizing market update by communicating with external stakeholders and discussing the value proposition of the therapeutic area drugs. 

 

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the public and private payer value proposition and the pricing strategy in the different sectors over product life cycle and lead the business case development for the internal endorsement on pricing strategy 

Translate customer insights into knowledge and expertise that will optimize product reimbursement plans. 

Lead cross-functional teams to develop market access priorities/strategies and ensure its successful execution. 

Partner with commercial partners to drive timely and effective HA formulary & safety net enlistment strategies 

Drive for new partnership initiatives/projects that focus on broadening patient profile and increasing access to Pfizer’s products  

Identify and drive stakeholders’ partnership opportunities to enable successful enlistment 

Provide the payer insight for market access strategy of new products/ indications and develop the scenario and business case to get the internal endorsement on the business case with access strategy 

Undertake and / or commission price sensitivity research as needed to optimize the co-pay or out-of-pocket pricing dynamics 

Scan the market and competitive landscape analysis to identify opportunity areas for novel and emerging solution in the patient ecosystem 

Create frameworks to effectively measure and monitor key KPIs to create an insights-driven engagement strategy, across multiple communication channels to drive patient outreach 

Responsible for unbranded Disease awareness communications and collaborate on unbranded material for patients, where permissible by local law 

Conduct detailed need Gap Analysis and provide creative and effective solutions basis patients’ and caregivers’ unmet needs to improve the patient journey experience 

 

Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Pharmacy, Science, Health Sciences, Economics, Public Health or a related discipline.

Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, typically with a minimum of 8 years of experience 

Proven track record in market access, pricing, sales, product or brand management, business development, health economics, or key account management within the pharma sector. 

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive operational excellence, and implement process improvements to support business growth and compliance. 

Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, quality standards, and risk management practices relevant to pharmaceuticals. 

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build partnerships across diverse teams and external organizations.
