Marine Supervisor supports the Marine Superintendent in managing all marine and cargo operations onboard the facility, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency in line with the Operations Management System and environmental legislation. This role also acts as Deputy Security Officer and plays a key part in emergency response and safety preparedness.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead daily marine and cargo activities in absence of Marine Superintendent. Supervise maintenance of ballast/cargo tanks, offloading systems, deck and marine equipment Oversee LSA and FFA inspections and ensure CMMS compliance. Support and supervise cargo operations and safety systems on deck. Ensure lifting operations are compliant and documented. Enforce safe work practices and environmental protection standards. Maintain lifting gear and crane logbooks. Contribute to LNG cargo planning and risk assessments. Support crew competence assessment within Marine Department. Assist in emergency response and participate in safety drills and meetings. Act as Facility Security Officer (deputy role) when required Prepare shift handovers, CMMS entries, and incident reports

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years’ offshore or LNGC experience, including 1 year in a senior role STCW Management Level Certificate with Advanced Gas Tanker endorsement Valid Ship Security Officer (SSO) certification Current medical and safety training per local authority standards. Summary on Airswift:
