MARINE LOGISTICS SPECIALIST
Join our dynamic team as a Marine Logistics Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in the oil and gas industry. This full-time contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in Tanga, Tanzania, ensuring efficient logistics operations while adhering to local content requirements and enhancing your professional skills.
Role Overview Implement Local Content requirements by engaging local contractor companies and manpower within logistics activities. Ensure all necessary means and personnel are fully trained for the first tanker loading at MST. Prepare and approve all required documentation, means, facilities, and personnel for RFSU. Develop and secure approval for Emergency Response Plans from all stakeholders, ensuring equipment availability for RFSU. Implement the Tanker Acceptance Report prior to loading operations at the jetty. Skills & Qualifications Dispatch management expertise. Knowledge of jetty operations. Understanding of cargo insurance processes. Experience in vessel berthing on trestle jetty and vessel loading operations. Proficiency in port equipment and vessel contract management. Ability to analyze DMA and project documents related to port design and installation. PSFSO certification. Training in ship manned model. Knowledge of oil pollution fighting techniques. Education & Experience Qualifications: Master Mariner, STCW Class 1. Experience: Minimum 10 years in the Oil and Gas Industry, with at least 5 years in vessel berthing and loading operations.
