Our client, a leader in marine products distribution, is seeking a Marine Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative to join their team. As a Marine Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting customer engagement and sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to analyze inventory needs, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

Sell marine products to business and industry using exceptional telephone and email communication skills. Provide existing and prospective customers with timely and accurate product quotes, solicit profitable orders, and upsell products. Manage ongoing customer service, including receiving and entering orders, and handling customer complaints. Grow existing accounts by introducing customers to new product offerings and managing service processes. Utilize computer databases and websites to verify customer information, product details, pricing, and availability.

What's Needed?

Minimum high school diploma or GED; Associate/Bachelor degree preferred. Three (3) years of sales and customer service experience. Previous experience and knowledge in marine/industrial distribution and safety products. Proficiency in Microsoft products including Excel and Word, as well as sales computer systems. Ability to analyze inventory stock levels and solve problems effectively.
