Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Marine Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, for an exciting Infrastructure Supervision Project. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing marine engineering aspects of infrastructure development, ensuring project success and compliance with industry standards.
Lead and supervise marine engineering activities for infrastructure projects in the coastal and offshore environmentDevelop and review technical designs, plans, and specifications for marine structures and systemsConduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure project adherence to design specifications and safety standardsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, civil engineers, and environmental specialistsPrepare and present technical reports, project updates, and recommendations to stakeholdersAnalyze and resolve complex engineering problems related to marine infrastructureEnsure compliance with local and international maritime regulations and environmental standardsManage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectivelyProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team membersStay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marine engineeringQualificationsBachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferredProfessional Engineer (PE) certification is highly desirableMinimum of 10 years of experience in marine engineering, with a focus on infrastructure supervision projectsProven expertise in maritime infrastructure and coastal engineeringExcellent project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resourcesProficiency in technical report writing and presentation skillsAdvanced problem-solving and analytical abilitiesFamiliarity with environmental regulations and their application in marine projectsStrong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teamsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirementsWillingness to travel to project sites as neededAdditional InformationAbout AECOM
