Job Title: Marine Structural Engineer – Waterfront Projects

About the Role

We are seeking a Marine Structural Engineer with a passion for waterfront design and construction to join our growing team in New York City. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact shoreline projects and contribute to the design and development of waterfront structures including:

BulkheadsRetaining wallsPiers and platformsRevetments and breakwatersFenders, docks, and flood resiliency systems

You’ll play a key role in both design and fieldwork, collaborating with engineers and project managers to deliver innovative and resilient infrastructure.

ResponsibilitiesPerform structural and geotechnical design for waterfront and site construction projectsObserve and monitor waterfront construction activities for conformance with design documentsAssist in preparing design deliverables, technical reports, and permit applicationsConduct field inspections of waterfront facilities and provide engineering observations during construction

Qualifications4+ years of experience in structural, waterfront/marine, or geotechnical engineeringBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required)EIT certification (required)Prior field experience in waterfront facility inspections and construction observationExperience with waterfront structures is highly preferred

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $103000.00/yr.
