Position Summary: The Marine/Dredging Engineer will be responsible for the technical planning, design review, engineering coordination, and site support for marine and dredging projects. This role requires strong experience in dredging operations, marine civil works, and coastal/port infrastructure, infrastructure with related civil works with proven capability to manage complex, multidisciplinary projects from feasibility through execution and closeout.

What You'll Be Doing:

Develop work methodologies, method statements, and equipment selection for dredging and marine construction.

Prepare project execution plans, construction schedules, and resource plans for marine and dredging works.

Provide technical support to site teams during project execution, including troubleshooting, optimization, and engineering clarifications.

Review and validate construction drawings and as-built documentation.

Monitor progress, identify risks, recommend mitigation measures, and support timely project delivery.

Ensure all engineering and construction activities comply with:

Project specifications and contract requirements

International codes and standards (e.g., PIANC, BS/EN, ISO)

Company quality procedures and HSE policies

Support development of risk assessments, environmental management plans, and dredging management plans.

Participate in technical audits, quality inspections, and HSE reviews for marine and dredging operations.

Liaise with clients, consultants, classification societies, port authorities, and regulatory bodies on technical matters.

Support permitting and environmental approvals, including documentation for dredging and disposal activities.

Represent the company in technical meetings, progress reviews, and site inspections.

Prepare engineering reports, design calculations, technical notes, and design basis documents.

Generate regular technical and progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Maintain accurate records of design changes, technical queries, and non-conformities.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Coastal/Marine Engineering, or related discipline

Minimum experience: 9–12years in marine/dredging engineering, with:

Significant hands-on experience in dredging projects (CSD, TSHD, backhoe/excavator dredgers, etc.)

Proven involvement in design and/or execution of ports, harbors, terminals, reclamation, or coastal protection projects.

Prior exposure to both office-based engineering and site-based operations is highly desirable.

Strong numerical and analytical skills for design checks and productivity assessments.
