**Description** **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring experienced **Marine Carpenters** for projects located in and around **Gulf Shores, AL.** This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range fo **$30-37/hour** based on experience and skill level. If you are a Marine Carpenter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! **Job Scope:** + Furniture and cabinet construction and installation + Deck repair and new deck installation + Fitting and installation of interior appliances + Veneer installation and finishing + Assessing job requirements and time estimates prior to starting + Assigning parts/purchases to appropriate vessel/job tickets + Accurately logging time per job in timekeeping system + Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment + Cross-functional support in other crafts such as paint and fiberglass as needed **Requirements:** + Minimum 3 years of Marine Carpentry experience + Familiarity with exotic woods such as teak, holly, and mahogany + Strong understanding of marine construction materials and techniques + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/specifications + Proficiency with a wide range of carpentry tools and equipment + Must possess personal hand tools + Excellent attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship + Ability to work collaboratively with a team + Physically able to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and climb stairs/scaffolding on land and on vessels + High school diploma or equivalent + Must pass a Drug Screen, Background Check and pre-employment physical + Valid driver’s license required **Company Details** Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
